ClikCloud Launches With Digital Marketing Services For MSPs

Shapero left Kaseya as executive vice president in August to form ClikCloud, which uses search engine optimized (SEO) content, best practice Web site design and pay-per-click ad management to market a solution provider's business for a monthly fee.

ClikCloud was launched at UBM Channel's ComdexVirtual event this week.

"It goes back to when I first joined Kaseya in 2006. Not a week would go by when I was not getting requests from customers asking for help with marketing. They were always looking for [marketing] blueprints, templates, starter kits," Shapero said.

A cottage industry arose offering MSP training kits but nobody was offering an actual service and that's what is needed, Shapero said.

"Small businessmen don't have a lot of time on their hands. I looked at the market opportunity and what they were asking for and said what can I do," he said.

Shapero did some informal research and found some MSPs didn't have Web sites and many that did were challenged with making it look professional and keeping it updated.

"The challenge they had aside from Webmaster skills was telling their story," Shapero said.

Pricing starts at $249 per month and ClikCloud features include customized Web site with managed services content, monthly newsletter and bi-monthly blog content, application integration with LogMeIn, Kaseya, Autotask and more, and social media integration with Facebook, Twitter Linked In and Digg.

For an additional $99 per month, service providers can add a pay-per-click management option for Google Adword templates, optimized landing pages and keyword discovery.
