OpSource Certifies Cloud Gear For Partners
The Validated Cloud Solutions Program, which currently includes 14 cloud vendors and partners, puts the OpSource stamp of approval on cloud offerings.
"The Validated Cloud Solutions program provides our cloud partners with a solid proof point that the application or platform they are taking to their customers is truly enterprise-class," said Jon Beck, senior vice president of worldwide channels and alliances for OpSource, said in a statement. "This validation enables our partners to integrate their solutions with other products and services from the OpSource Partner Ecosystem, providing our partners with new market opportunities while enabling our enterprise customers to experience the cost benefits of having a complete solution from the onset."
OpSource is opening up applications for potential partners to become OpSource validated, which requires a heavy focus on delivering value to the OpSource Partner Ecosystem. The ecosystem is OpSource's partner program that's designed to give integrators, ISVs, developers, cloud providers and platform vendors the ability to deliver integrated solutions to customers. OpSource said the Validated Cloud Solutions program will ease the burden of cloud integration for partners and help them get to market more quickly while reducing costs of implementation and ownership.
The initial cloud products certified under OpSource's Validated Cloud Solutions products are: ANX secure cloud access; aPersona anonymous second factor login confirmation; AppDynamics application performance management; AppFirst application problem resolutions; Aryaka WAN optimization and application acceleration; Compuware Web application load and performance testing; CTERA Networks cloud storage appliance; Evolven cloud configuration management; Librato virtual server resource monitoring and management; NRG Global application load testing; nSolutions visibility and control for cloud compliance; Standing Cloud application deployment and management; Transverse metering, billing and analytics; and Vasco secure authentication solutions.
The Validated Cloud Solutions program launch comes just months after OpSource was acquired by massive systems integrator Dimension Data, a move by Dimension Data to beef up its cloud computing presence.
