HP Internal Memo Outlines Cloud Group Reorganization
As part of that focus, HP has set up an internal division to unify several disparate units that handled cloud products and services, according to an internal HP memo obtained by CRN. The division will be run by Saar Gillai, formerly vice president of cloud networking.
The memo, written by Zorawar Biri Singh, senior vice president and general manager of HP Cloud Services, follows the company's launch of its Converged Cloud platform earlier this year.

"Today, we are taking an important step forward in transforming our Converged Cloud strategy into a more definitive organizational and functional structure by formalizing a new organization within HP Converged Cloud: Converged Cloud Product and Technology," Singh wrote in the memo.
Gillai's, who was vice president and general manager of Cloud Networking, assumes the new position of senior vice president of HP Converged Cloud - Products and Technology. He will report to Singh.
Gillai, the memo said, "will work across HP’s various cloud initiatives to drive a unified Converged Cloud portfolio, architecture, product/solutions, and delivery framework, while building a central products/engineering and technology team to accelerate the delivery of HP’s cloud solutions to market."
