Norcross, Ga.-based Link Your House is working with the developer of Carter Grove Plantation, a 3,500-home community being built in Cartersville, Ga., with houses selling in the $280,000 to $400,000 range. The integrator's deal with Electrograph will put Pioneer Purevision 42-inch high-definition plasma TVs and two A/V receivers in the living rooms of two showcase homes. Link Your House also has been contracted to install the wiring infrastructure in the homes.

For Electrograph, the model-home deal helps bring the Hauppauge, N.Y.-based distributor out into the field with its VARs, a move that it hopes to replicate to boost support of its channel partners.

"We really want to work in partnership with the resellers and [get involved in] more grassroots efforts to help them with growing their businesses. This is part of trying to invest back into reseller partners to help them be profitable and do more business," said Melody Craigmyle, director of marketing at Electrograph.

"We feel that the home-building market is really on the rise and an emerging market for us and our resellers," she added.
