Baby, it may be cold out there, but here are some of the hottest laptop cases, iPad cases and netbook bags.

These cases not only look good, but they are also your secret weapon against scrapes, scuffs and yes, snow.

Hammerhead Sleeves

Various colors and sizes are available; compatible with iPad, MacBook, 13-inch MacBook Air/MacBook Pro; 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro. The 13.4-inch green sleeve, which reverses to beige, retails for $19.99; reseller pricing is available.

ThermaPAK's icePad

ThermaPAK's laptop cases incorporate the company’s award-winning HeatShift Technology, which brings down the temperature of long-running electronic devices to comfortable operating temperatures. The company's patented HeatShift Technology begins working once the gadget is placed on the pad. Grooved channels optimize airflow while eco-friendly salt crystals absorb the heat from a laptop or iPad and dissipate the heat to cooler areas of the pad by melting into a gel. When the device is cooled or no longer in use, the gel automatically converts back to a solid form. The company says that laptops using ThermaPAK’s HeatShift Technology have been cooled by an average of 10 degrees Fahrenheit without using any power. Pictured is the icePad shell in cranberry, which incorporates the HeatShift technology. MSRP: $34.99.
