Michael Dell's Movie Debut: See It Now
The movie, "The Sno Cone Stand Inc.," is an independent film produced in Austin, Texas, about three budding investment brokers who get discouraged about the business, especially when they find that a local snow cone truck is doing brisk business.
According to the trailer, the movie celebrates "Climbing Your Way Down The Corporate Ladder."
In their 25 or so seconds on-screen, the Dells are seen talking to a shady investment broker who celebrates their signing of an investment deal with an Obama-like fist bump and a loud "booyah."
Unnamed Dell executives supposedly invested in the movie, according to the blog. Dell (the company) did not respond to questions about the investment at print time.
Neither of the Dells have a speaking part.
Neither do they appear destined for a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. After standing with their backs to the camera for most of the clip, they turn around and walk off-stage shaking their heads and smiling that weird little grin the way most non-professional actors do.
(If you are not sure what I mean, think about your children at the school play).
