1Password’s Cornmesser, Sophos’ Barlow Hold Semifinals Leads: Channel Madness

The 2025 CRN Channel Madness Field of Four are fighting for a spot in the championship round.

The semifinal round of the 2025 CRN Channel Madness Tournament of Chiefs is in full swing as the Field of Four fight to make it to the championship round.

Here’s a look at how Round 4 is shaping up.

Acceleration regional winner Lori Cornmesser of 1Password came roaring out at tipoff and has built a solid lead over Transformation regional winner Michael DePalma of OpenText. Cornmesser is ahead with 73 percent of the vote to DePalma’s 27 percent.

Meanwhile, Innovation regional winner Scott Barlow of Sophos is also out to a fast start over Evolution regional winner Tom Evans of Cloudflare. Barlow is ahead with 66 percent of the vote to Evans’ 34 percent.

Voting in the semifinal round continues through the weekend and closes on Monday, March 31 at noon ET. Then voting in the championship round will open later Monday. Visit CRN.com/madness to cast your votes and choose your chief!
