Nerdio CRO: We Want MSPs To Navigate Microsoft Cloud Offerings ‘In Three Clicks Or Less’

‘We want you to be able to do anything you want to do in the Microsoft cloud in three clicks or less,’ says Joseph Landes, co-founder and CRO of Nerdio. ‘If you could do that, you and your tech team are going to find moving to the Microsoft cloud significantly easier.’

Nerdio knows using Microsoft cloud offerings can be confusing and difficult for MSPs. That’s why the Microsoft Azure tools provider’s offerings help simplify Microsoft platforms with a goal to navigate the cloud in just a few clicks.

“We know that if you can't solve that issue as a business owner, you're not going to move your entire practice into the Microsoft cloud,” said Joseph Landes, co-founder and CRO of Chicago-based Nerdio. “We want you to be able to do anything you want to do in the Microsoft cloud in three clicks or less. If you could do that, you and your tech team are going to find moving to the Microsoft cloud significantly easier.”

Landes spoke at CRN parent company The Channel Company’s XChange August show in San Antonio this week.

He said Nerdio helps MSPs in three ways: growing their business, making more money and increasing their knowledge around Microsoft cloud offerings.

“Building a practice in the Microsoft cloud is certainly easier said than done,” he said. “If it was easy to do, everyone would be doing it already. We find that some of the challenges that you're struggling with are that the market is evolving incredibly rapidly, you're used to doing things a certain way, primarily running your companies using on-prem infrastructure, and Microsoft doesn't really give you a roadmap for success when it comes to building a practice in the Microsoft cloud.”

He said the biggest question he gets from MSPs is, “How do I make money in the Microsoft cloud?”

To do that, Nerdio’s Manager for MSP is a multi-tenant and a cross-tenant product that allows MSPs to manage the entire Microsoft infrastructure cloud in one single pane of glass.

It’s so popular that Nerdio recently partnered with New York-based solution provider Kyndryl to enhance its capabilities in delivering solutions across Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 and Microsoft Intune.

And Microsoft Azure is Nerdio’s foundation. “We believe, that if you don't get Microsoft Azure right, you're not going to build a long-term, sustainable Microsoft cloud practice,” he said.

Nerdio helps MSPs with pricing using the Azure calculator and the Nerdio cost estimator, they help with the deployment of Microsoft Azure, the ongoing management of the tool and cost optimization.

Melvin Williams, CEO of Blue Bell, Pa.-based MSP M&N Communications, said he’s interested in all of the products Nerdio is adding to iportfolio.

“We are about to become a Nerdio partner,” he told CRN. “We have been to their events, we've had the call and we just purchased our package that we needed to get so that we can work with them. We're looking to see what our business is going to and how our business is going to grow.”
