Bruce Leaves Cisco Channels

Cisco is calling Bruce's departure a leave of absence, but the company is conducting interviews to replace Bruce in the role.

Assigned to his most recent position in January, Bruce was charged with building a service provider channel strategy that created a balance between Cisco's service provider and solution provider partners.

Many Cisco solution provider partners have been complaining that service providers are selling Cisco gear at below cost and pricing them out of the market.

Prior to his most recent position, Bruce was vice president of U.S. channels for Cisco. He joined the company in 1994 as director of telco channels operations.
