Dell Hints At Adamo Specs Release

Rich Bernier tweeted, "You want to know what Dell has coming out in March 2009? Be the first to know!" A link was attached to the message which, when followed, led to the Web site for Dell's anticipated Adamo.

Following up on the information Bernier mentioned, a brief exchange on Twitter took place. I asked if his tweet meant the Adamo could be expected in March. "I do not have an ETA on the system's release date, but the system's specs/detailed info should be rolling out around mid-March," Bernier tweeted. He went on to note that the Adamo is being kept under strict lock and key.

"As of right now, I can't even touch the unit or get specs. All I know is that it looks beautiful. Hard to get any info on this unit," Bernier tweeted.

Still, it looks like official specs for the high-end Adamo will come from Dell sometime in the next month or so.

The Adamo notebook was briefly previewed at CES in Las Vegas and is aimed at filling the luxury line of computing that Dell currently doesn't have. The Web site for Adamo -- which looks more like an advertisement for Gucci than a notebook -- doesn't provide many other details for the notebook, other than offering the "opportunity to fall in love."
