30 Notable IT Executive Moves: November 2024

Schneider Electric, Sprinklr, AWS, HP, Insight, Unisys and Kyndryl were among the tech companies making key executive hires and moves in November 2024.

New CEOs of Schneider Electric and Sprinklr, a new chief marketing officer at Amazon Web Services and a new chief sustainability officer at HP were among the biggest executive moves in November.

Taking those top spots, respectively, were Oliver Blum, a 30-plus-year Schneider veteran; Rory Read, formerly with Vonage; Julia White, formerly with SAP; and Jen Huffstetler, formerly with Intel.

November Tech Executive Moves

Insight, Unisys and Kyndryl were among the other tech giants to make executive moves during the month as companies invest in talent for overseeing sales, technology and partners.

Those executives were:

In November, the U.S. added 227,000 jobs due in part to the return of employees who were on strike or who stopped working due to harsh weather, according to CNN. The unemployment rate increased to 4.2 percent.

Christopher Taylor

Christopher Taylor took on the role of vice president of digital workplace solutions for business development go-to-market (GTM) and solution design at Unisys in November.

Taylor joined the Blue Bell, Pa.-based company–No. 36 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about eight years with NTT Data, accordingto his LinkedIn account. He left NTT with the title of senior director of global solutions and digital transformation.

His resume includes about six years with Dell Technologies, leaving in 2016 as a solution architect director, and about six years with Perot Systems, leaving in 2010 as Unix team leader.

NTT bought Perot Systems from Dell in 2016. Dell had bought Perot in 2009.

Jen Huffstetler

HP hired Jen Huffstetler in November, tasking her with the role of chief sustainability officer and senior vice president of sustainable impact and compliance.

Huffstetler came to the Palo Alto, Calif.-based computer maker after about 26 years with Intel, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Intel with the title of chief product sustainability officer and vice president and general manager for future platform strategy.

She started with Intel in 1998 as an Intel Centrino product marketing engineer.

HP has about 250,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Sabrina Hernandez

Sabrina Hernandez became vice president of renewals at Insight in November.

Hernandez was hired by the Chandler, Ariz.-based company–a member of CRN’s MSP 500–after about three years with Zendesk, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Zendesk with the title of VP of renewals.

Her resume includes about one year with Micro Focus. She left the company in 2022 with the title of worldwide maintenance renewals lead. OpenText bought Micro Focus in 2023.

Rory Read

Rory Read became CEO of Sprinklr in November.

Read joined the New York-based unified customer experience management platform provider after about four years as president and CEO of Vonage, according to his LinkedIn account. Ericsson bought Vonage in 2022.

His resume includes about five years with Dell Technologies, leaving in 2020 as chief operating executive and president and CEO of Dell’s Virtustream business. He also spent about four years with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) as CEO, leaving in 2015.

Sprinklr has a partner program for system integrators and other business models, according to its website.

Julia White

Amazon Web Services brought on a new chief marketing officer in November–Julia White.

White joined the Seattle-based cloud giant after about three years with SAP, according to her LinkedIn account. She left SAP with the title of chief marketing and solutions officer.

Her resume includes about 20 years with Microsoft. She left the tech giant in 2021 with the title of corporate vice president, working on “product marketing for Azure, Developer Tools and Servers,” according to her LinkedIn account.

AWS has more than 130,000 partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Oliver Blum

Schneider Electric promoted Oliver Blum to CEO in November, succeeding Peter Herweck.

Blum has worked at the France-based industrial technology vendor for more than 30 years, according to his LinkedIn account. Titles he’s previously held at Schneider include executive vice president of the energy management business and chief strategy and sustainability officer.

According to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs, Schneider expects the number of channel partners it works with to increase within the next 12 months.

Shikshya Khatiwada

Kyndryl hired Shikshya Khatiwada in November, tasking her with the role of vice president for consult partner data and AI.

Khatiwada was brought on by the New York-based company–No. 9 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about five years with Avanade. She left Avanade with the title of global modernization go-to-market lead, according to her LinkedIn account.

Her resume includes about two years with IBM. She left the vendor in 2018 with the title of business development executive for cognitive process services.

George Kwon

George Kwon became vice president of product for Google Workspace in November.

In this role, he will lead “the Workspace Platform Product Organization (Monetization, Ecosystem, Security, Admin and Platform) driving growth strategies from SMB to Enterprise,” according to his LinkedIn account.

Kwon joined the Mountain View, Calif.-based tech giant after about 10 years with Okta. He left the identity and access management (IAM) vendor with the title of senior vice president of product management.

Google has more than 100,000 partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Vinti Batiste

In November, Vinti Batiste became vice president of enterprise sales.

Batiste was brought on by the San Francisco-based connectivity cloud vendor after about 25 years with Cisco, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Cisco with the title of VP of sales for Americas services providers.

Her resume includes about four years with IBM, leaving in 1999 as a client executive.

According to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs, Cloudflare is working to increase the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel.

David Raissipour

David Raissipour joined ConnectWise in November, taking on the role of chief product officer and chief technology officer.

Raissipour came to the Tampa, Fla.-based MSP tools vendor after more than three years with Mimecast, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Mimecast as CTO and CPO.

His resume includes about four years with Sophos. He left the vendor in 2020 with the title of senior vice president of the Sophos Cloud Platform Group and Sophos Messaging Security Group.

ConnectWise has about 44,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Bill Robbins

In November, Menlo Security hired Bill Robbins as its president.

Robbins came to the Mountain View, Calif.-based secure browser vendor after about a year with Sophos, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Sophos with the title of worldwide field operations president.

His resume includes about six years with Mandiant. He left the company in 2023 with the title of chief revenue officer and executive vice president. Google bought Mandiant in 2022.

Lori Chavez

In November, SentinelOne hired Lori Chavez as vice president of marketing.

Chavez was brought on by the Mountain View, Calif.-based security vendor after about three years with Sumo Logic, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Sumo Logic with the title of VP of marketing for global demand generation, field and channels, digital, account-based experience (ABX) and operations.

Her resume includes about three years with Kofax, leaving in 2021 as VP of demand generation, ABX, business development, field marketing and operations.

SentinelOne has about 6,400 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Ken Marks

Cynomi found a new chief revenue officer in November–Ken Marks.

Marks came to the Burlington, Mass.-based managed security services provider (MSSP) and virtual chief information security officer (vCISO) platform provider after about four years with SentinelOne, according to his LinkedIn account. He left SentinelOne with the title of vice president of worldwide channels and MSSP.

His resume includes about one year with Silver Peak. He left the company in 2020 with the title of VP of worldwide partners and alliances. Hewlett Packard Enterprise bought Silver Peak in 2020.

Shellie Molina

In November, Lumen brought on Shellie Molina as its new chief procurement officer.

Molina was hired by the Monroe, La.-based telecommunications vendor after about five years with Genpact, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Genpact with the title of senior vice president and lead client partner.

Her resume includes about two years with Rollease Acmeda. She left the window covering hardware system manufacturer with the title of chief operating officer.

According to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs, Lumen expects the number of channel partners it works with to increase within the next 12 months.

Patty Martone Carrolo

In November, Patty Martone Carrolo became corporate vice president for U.S. health and life sciences at Microsoft.

Carrolo joined the Redmond, Wash.-based tech giant after about three years with Google, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Google with the title of vice president, where she was “accountable for revenue, profitability, and customer success for Google Cloud's entire portfolio.”

Her resume includes about 20 years with IBM. She left the vendor in 2022 with the title of general manager for global health care and life sciences industry.

Gaurav Rewari

Gaurav Rewari joined ServiceNow in November, taking on the role of senior vice president and general manager with a focus on data and analytics.

Rewari came to the Santa Clara, Calif.-based workflow automation platform vendor after about two years with ThoughtSpot and Mode, according to his LinkedIn account. He served as chief technology officer at ThoughtSpot after the company bought Mode in 2023. Rewari became Mode’s CEO in 2022.

His resume includes about nine years with Digital.ai and Numerify. He left Digital.ai in 2021 as chief technology officer and GM of analytics. In 2020, Digital.ai bought Numerify–which Rewari co-founded in 2012 and led as CEO.

According to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs, ServiceNow is working to increase the overall percentage of company revenue that comes through the channel.

Dennis Deane

In November, Pure Storage bought on a new vice president for global system integrator (GSI) sales–Dennis Deane.

Deane came to the Santa Clara, Calif.-based data storage vendor after about three years with Veritas Technologies, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Veritas with the title of VP of global strategic alliances.

His resume includes about a year with Amazon Web Services. He left AWS in 2021 with a role in global and strategic accounts partnerships.

According to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs, Pure Storage is working to increase the amount of recurring revenue going through partners and amount of net new accounts coming through partners.

Bob Wise

Bob Wise joined Nvidia in November, taking on the role of vice president of engineering and operations for DGX Cloud.

Wise came to the Santa Clara, Calif.-based chipmaker after about three years with Salesforce, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Salesforce with the title of Heroku CEO.

His resume includes about four years with Amazon Web Services. He left AWS in 2022 with the title of Kubernetes general manager.

Nvidia has about 1,600 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.

Ragu Adinarayanan

Presidio brought on Ragu Adinarayanan in November, tasking him with the role of vice president of engineering for digital delivery.

Adinarayanan was recruited by the New York-based company–a member of CRN’s MSP 500–after about 12 years with Slalom, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Slalom with the title of director for client services.

His resume includes about eight years with Deloitte. He left the firm in 2013 with the title of senior manager.

Kelli Murphy

In November, Kelli Murphy joined Peraton as vice president of citizen security and public services.

Murphy came to the Reston, Va.-based company––No. 23 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after less than a year with Pyramid Systems, according to her LinkedIn account. She left Pyramid with the title of VP for Department of Homeland Security business.

Her resume includes about three years with Science Applications International Corp. and about 18 years with Unisys. She left SAIC in 2023 with the title of business development senior principal and Unisys in 2020 with the title of Homeland Security business development executive.

SAIC bought Unisys’ federal business unit in 2020.

Brian Blanchard

Thoughtworks hired Brian Blanchard in November as global vice president of cloud services.

Blanchard was brought on by the Chicago-based solution provider after about a year with EPAM Systems, according to his LinkedIn account. He left EPAM with the title of chief technology officer for cloud strategy.

His resume includes about five years with Microsoft. He left the vendor in 2023 with the title of senior director of product management, patterns and practices.

Chris Manero

In November, Alithya hired Chris Manero as vice president of Oracle manufacturing.

Manero came to the Montréal-based company–No. 137 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about two years with DXC Technology, according to his LinkedIn account. He left DXC with the title of client partner.

His resume includes about three years with Accenture. He left the solution provider in 2022 with the title of managing director.

Karthik Krishnan

In November, Brillio hired Karthik Krishnan as chief technology officer for the consumer vertical.

Krishnan joined the Edison, N.J.-based company–No. 197 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about 12 years with Thoughtworks, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Thoughtworks with the title of tech director for retail, consumer goods and travel for North America.

His resume includes about six years with Mahaswami Software. He left the company in 2013 as CTO.

Lisa Cranfill Dutton

Lisa Cranfill Dutton became senior vice president of total rewards at Leidos in November.

Dutton joined the Reston, Va.-based company–No. 10 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about two years with BAE Systems, according to her LinkedIn account. She left BAE with the title of VP of total rewards.

Her resume includes about a year with JLL, leaving the real estate firm in 2022 with the title of head of global rewards, markets and enterprise benefits.

Theodore Travis

In November, Theodore Travis became vice president and Cyber Trident (training, readiness, integration, delivery and enterprise technology) liaison to U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).

A By Light subsidiary was awarded the $957 million Trident contract in 2022, according to a company statement from the time.

Travis came to the McLean, Va.-based company–No. 74 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about 30 years with the U.S. Army, according to his LinkedIn account. He served as cybersecurity senior manager at the National Security Agency (NSA) for about a year.

His Army career includes serving as a commander in the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade, according to his LinkedIn account.

Stacy Gerber-Evans

Pomeroy brought on Stacy Gerber-Evans as vice president and U.S. controller during November.

Gerber-Evans joined the Hebron, Ky.-based company–No. 87 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about four years with R+L Carriers, according to her LinkedIn account. She left R+L with the title of corporate financial controller.

Her resume includes about a year with Medpace. She left the company in 2021 with the title of corporate accounting manager.

Craig Keller

Craig Keller joined New Era Technology in November, taking on the role of senior vice president of procurement.

Keller came to the New York-based company–No. 53 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–after about a year with Medius, according to his LinkedIn account. He left Medius with the title of VP of payment strategy.

His resume includes about two years with EverView. He left the company in 2023 with the title of procurement SVP.

Tony Rivalie

In November, Fusion Connect brought on a new vice president of national enterprise sales–Tony Rivalie.

Rivalie joined the Atlanta-based company–a member of CRN’s MSP 500–after about five years with GTT, according to his LinkedIn account. He left GTT as senior vice president of enterprise sales for the Americas.

His resume includes about 12 years with Verizon and XO Communications. He left Verizon in 2019 with the title of strategic initiatives director. Verizon bought XO in 2017.

Mark Quiroz

Mark Quiroz became senior vice president and general manager of displays for Sharp Business in November.

Quiroz came to the Montvale, N.J.-based company–a member of CRN’s MSP 500–after about a year with Masimo. He left Masimo with the title of chief commercial officer for the consumer business.

His resume includes more than four years with Samsung Electronics. He left Samsung in 2023 with the title of VP and GM of product and services management, leading “the Product & Category Management, Business Operations, P&L and GTM efforts for the the New Compute & Mobile Enhancements and Paid Services businesses,” according to his LinkedIn account.

Tim Beamer

In November, solutions4networks promoted Tim Beamer to the role of chief information officer.

Beamer joined the Pittsburgh-based solution provider in 2023 as vice president, according to his LinkedIn account. He previously worked at LogicalisUS for about four years, leaving with the title of senior solutions architect.

His resume includes about four years with Plus+ Consulting. He left Plus in 2019 with a role in working on Microsoft Cloud solutions. Plus+ was acquired by ivision in 2022.
