CA Gives Unicenter Reins to Ex-Novell CTO

CRN first reported that Nugent was headed to CA Wenesday morning.

Nugent will report to Russell Artzt, CA's executive vice president of products.

News that Nugent had resigned from his position at Novell, Provo, UT., surfaced last week.

Nugent's departure followed the November exit of Novell Vice Chairman Chris Stone, who was a key player in the software vendor's Linux push.
