BlueRoads Unveils Deal Registration Manager
As with its previous two products for lead management and renewal management, the new Deal Registration Manager from BlueRoads adopts a user-, or reseller-centric, perspective in its workflow.
"Resellers often hesitate to register deals because they don't want to give the information away in case the deal isn't approved. That's why we won't display any of the details to the vendor during the approval process, other than bare-bones information such as potential deal size." said Axel Schultze, CEO of the San Mateo, Calif., company, giving one example of that reseller viewpoint. "Vendors never see who the prospect is until after they've approved the deal."
Using the BlueRoads software, customers can create fully automated workflows to manage the entire deal lifecycle, from the time of registration through vendor approval to processing various incentives.
"Since vendors like to know what the reseller is working on, they may want to throw in an extra bonus," said Schultze. "We have a built-in sliding discount schedule, so vendors could give extra discounts if the reseller registers early. They can also connect bonuses to certain products."
BlueRoads' Deal Registration Manager is expected to be available by early December.
