Presidio Boosts ServiceNow Business By Buying Majority Stake In Elite Partner Contender Solutions
Presidio makes its second acquisition in one month with the purchase of ServiceNow Elite partner Contender Solutions.
Channel powerhouse Presidio has acquired a majority stake in one of ServiceNow’s top partners to boost the $6 billion company’s ServiceNow business, specifically around software management services and implementation.
Presidio CEO Bob Cagnazzi (pictured) said the acquisition of Contender Solutions comes as tech leaders are seeking enterprise management services to automate processes that deliver business outcomes and enable customers more time to drive innovation.
“We’re excited Contender is now part of Presidio to seamlessly support our clients’ ServiceNow platforms and achieve outcomes that drive their business success,” Cagnazzi said in a statement on Monday announcing the deal.
The acquisition comes just one month after Presidio purchased Internetwork Engineering in October to enhance the New York City-based company’s networking, data center and cybersecurity sales. Buying North Carolina-based Internetwork also helped Presidio to better position itself to serve customers across the Southeast region of the U.S.

Contender Solutions is based in Tampa, Florida, which will also boost Presidio’s market presence in the Southeastern U.S.
These pair of acquisitions came after Presidio itself was bought by private equity giant Clayton Dubilier and Rice (CD&R) in April.
Financial terms of the Contender Solutions deal were not disclosed.
