Dell Unveils Combo AC/DC Adapter For Laptops

The $99 AC/DC adapter works with all Latitudes, most Inspiron models, and Dell's Precision M60 mobile workstation, a high-end desktop-replacement laptop.

The 65-watt combination adapter also supports Dell's ExpressCharge technology, which when connected to certain Dell notebooks, recharges batteries to 80 percent capacity in about an hour.

Available now in the U.S. and western Europe, the adapter will be introduced in the Asia/Pacific region in January, and in eastern Europe in February.

Customers can order the adapter separately to equip already-owned laptops, or as an optional add-on when purchasing new portables.
