MSP Carousel Industries Flexes Collaboration Tech Muscles With New Webinar Series
Carousel Industries, an Exeter, Rhode Island-based managed services provider, recently launched a webinar series focused on strengthening customer relationships in a number of key collaboration technology areas.
The three-part webinar series, available on Carousel Industries' website, features information on voice over IP, collaboration, and video solutions, Daniel Edwards, vice president of marketing at Carousel Industries, said in a recent interview.
The webinar series also features advice from Blair Pleasant, president and principal analyst of COMMfusion and co-founder of UCStrategies, and Terence Fogarty, contact center and solutions consultant at Carousel Industries.

Edwards told CRN the goal of the webinar series is to educate customers and grow the company's business.
"Ultimately we are trying to generate business for our company and invite prospects and existing customers to learn from our experts," said Edwards. "We want to educate our customers, but at the end of the day, we're trying to help them understand the opportunities. We're trying to get them to think of the new solutions available [that] they should be looking at."
Carousel Industries isn't concentrating on utilizing traditional advertising or social media for marketing, said Edwards. "We're more focused on communications, driving engagements into our database and targeting customers [through] e-marketing and email," he said.
The webinars are an example of how Carousel Industries is looking to engage prospective and current customers by providing access to information they will find valuable, said Edwards.
Carousel Industries is currently planning a video panel discussion as its next big campaign, said Edwards. The online discussion will include five industry leaders with experience in unified communications, managed services, virtualization, VoIP, video conferencing and collaboration.
"We're promoting by sending out little videos of these people. They'll answer a question, click to learn more, and they’ll see a video of this expert for a minute," said Edwards. "If they want to get more, they’ll join this video panel coming up."
