Channel Analyst Bova Leaves Gartner For Salesforce
Analyst Tiffani Bova is leaving research firm Gartner and heading to Salesforce to become an evangelist for the CRM leader, she said in a Salesforce blog Monday.
As vice president and distinguished analyst at Gartner, Bova spoke at many industry events during her 10 years at the firm.
She is taking a newly created position at Salesforce, according to the blog, being named Global, Customer Growth and Innovation Evangelist.

"Salesforce offered me a great opportunity to evangelize sales and innovation to the market and their customers -- and it was something I just couldn’t pass up," Bova said in the blog. "When you’re in the fourth or fifth chapter of your career, it’s important to make sure you’re going somewhere for all the right reasons."
She also said Salesforce's philanthropic and social endeavors motivated her to join the San Francisco-based company as much as what it was doing from a business standpoint.
