Domo, based in American Forks, Utah, develops its Domo Business Cloud system that collects and analyzes data from operational systems and applications and presents the analytical results and data visualizations to executives.
For the first nine months (ended Oct. 31) of its fiscal 2021 Domo reported sales of $153.3 million. The company will report its full year fiscal 2021 results on March 11.
“The need for speed in putting data to work has never been more important and I’m looking forward to building on our business momentum with the addition of these proven executives,” said Domo founder and CEO Josh James, in a statement announcing the new hires.
Shannon “brings years of experience in business development and partner strategy” to the job, Domo said. At KPMG Shannon was most recently the senior director of advisory services, focused on managing the company’s relationship with Ford, a major client, and KPMG’s two largest technology accounts. Shannon was also responsible for KPMG’s co-selling partnerships with IT companies including IBM, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
Before KPMG Shannon worked at Oracle as senior global accounts director where she managed two of the IT giant’s largest international co-sell and re-sell relationships, according to Domo.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Shannon worked at KPMG for eight years and at Oracle for six years, also working at IBM for one year in between as sales lead in Global Business Services.
“Domo fills a critical gap in helping organizations modernize their existing data investments and I’m looking forward to bringing the value of Domo to a broader community through a strategic partner ecosystem,” Shannon said in a statement.
The Domo Partner Network covers the company’s ecosystem of channel partners including resellers, OEMs and consulting service partners. Channel partners include Cognizant, Perficient and Slalom.
The ecosystem also includes technology partners such as Microsoft, Salesforce and Snowflake who integrate their software with Domo and application solution partners who develop applications on the Domo platform.
