20 Tech Companies Hiring In The IT Channel: April 2024
Atos, By Light, CompuNet, Acer, ServiceNow and SonicWall are among the companies to list open positions for channel-related roles.
This month, Atos, By Light and CompuNet are among the solution providers to list open positions while Acer, ServiceNow and SonicWall are among the vendors to list open positions for channel-related roles.
CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel — either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel
Open roles include:
- An application developer making at least $70,000 a year in the Memphis, Tenn., area with Atos
- A technical writer with By Light
- A Microsoft account manager with CompuNet
- A business manager for Latin America who can make at least $120,000 a year with Acer
- An area vice president (AVP) for strategic system integrators for ServiceNow
- A senior channel account manager who can make at least $156,000 a year with SonicWall
All the hiring comes despite multiple tech companies cutting their employee rosters amid high inflation and a low unemployment rate of 3.8 percent.
Career transitioning firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas reported Thursday that the technology industry “leads all industries in job cut announcements this year with 42,442, down 59% from the 102,391 cuts announced in the first quarter last year.”
Still, the tech sector remains a leader in employing jobseekers, according to the report. “The Energy sector led all industries with plans to hire 5,800 workers, followed by the Technology sector, which plans to add 2,237 positions.”
Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.
ESET
An open role for a channel partner sales director who can make at least $165,000 a year is available at ESET this month, according to a LinkedIn post.
The Slovakia-based security vendor seeks a director who can do “strategic planning including competitive planning, identification of key market segments, designing new channel programs, developing sales plays for both new and existing channel partners,” among other responsibilities, according to the listing.
Candidates should have a “minimum of 8-10 years of channel VAR & NSP sales and/or marketing experience in a senior role, preferably with a major enterprise software provider or emerging software vendor during a period of rapid growth, managing a specific channel sales, marketing or alliance book of business.”
ESET also seeks a senior financial analyst who can make at least $115,000 a year and “assist in business transformation efforts by consulting with business partners to develop self-service products such ROI calculators and trackers, KPI templates and marketing spend trackers,” according to the listing.
Candidates should have “5 or more years of experience” and a “bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent experience required, CPA or MBA.”
ESET has about 10,000 channel partners worldwide and 4,500 in North America, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.
ServiceNow
ServiceNow seeks an area vice president (AVP) for strategic system integrators, according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based digital workflows vendor will task the AVP with “selling the ServiceNow platform to our Strategic System Integrators,” according to the listing.
The AVP “will play a critical part in driving revenue growth by managing our sell to motion to our system integrators and partnering closely with our Global Partnerships team” and “ensure a framework is in place to drive continued retention and success of our System Integrators ServiceNow platform adoption.”
ServiceNow has 2,200 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.
Evo Security
An open sales development representative (SDR) position paying at least $40,000 a year is available at Evo Security, according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Austin, Texas-based identity and access management (IAM) platform vendor for MSPs wants the SDR to drive “the company's growth by generating qualified leads and nurturing relationships with potential MSP customers” and “conduct research to identify potential MSP Prospects and understand their needs and pain points.”
Candidates should have “1+ Years experience with Outbound Calling,” according to the listing.
About 100 percent of Evo’s overall sales come through indirect channel and alliance relationships, according to CRN’s 2024 Channel Chiefs.
Synopsys
Among Synopsys’ open roles this month is a public sector channel marketing manager for North America who can make at least $100,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based semiconductor tools vendor will task the hire with building and managing “relationships with both internal and external (partner) marketing, Public Sector channel sales, and executives” and creating and communicating “a GTM strategy for Public Sector field and channel marketing,” according to the listing.
Candidates should have a “minimum of 5-8 years in Public Sector, Partner field marketing or channel marketing experience” plus “experience with GTM routes with different types of partners, which include but are not limited to, Distribution, VAR, Federal System Integrators.”
Synopsys also seeks a regional channel manager for security who can make at least $111,000 a year, according to a separate listing.

Exclaimer
Jobseekers interested in a role as a channel marketing manager might be interested in this open position at Exclaimer listed on LinkedIn.
The England-based email tools vendor wants this manager “to be responsible for working with Global Channel Marketing team in developing and managing Exclaimer’s channel marketing program and managing the channel marketing team globally,” according to the listing.

Appian has a variety of open positions related to the channel.
The McLean, Va.-based business process automation vendor seeks the following:

Arista Networks has an opening for a federal sales client director for intelligence agencies who can make at least $132,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based networking vendor will task the hire with “development of both customer and partner relationships with an emphasis on both vertical and horizontal growth” and developing “a 3-year Arista business plan that is measurable to the growth of our FED Sales revenues,” according to the listing.
The hire will be responsible for “creating and executing targeted account plans in concert with partner managers and sales engineering team.”
Candidates should “possess 7+ years of Federal experience with customer, channel partner, or competitor” and have “a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in addition to 12+ of technology sales experience.”

Cyble
Jobseekers interested in a role as an enterprise sales manager for the Central U.S. might look to an open role at Cyble.

SonicWall seeks a senior channel account manager who can make at least $156,000 a year, according to a LinkedIn listing.
