CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel—either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel
Open roles include:
- A senior help desk agent making at least $25 an hour at Connection
- A business development representative (BDR) at Thrive
- A warehouse management system (WMS) consulting director at Envista
- A national account manager for SHI at Barracuda
- A senior partner pricing strategy manager making at least $167,000 a year at Cloudflare
- A geographic sales engineer
All the hiring comes despite multiple tech giants cutting their employee rosters amid growing inflation, the possibility of a recession in the near future and tightening IT budgets after high demand for technology during the height of the pandemic.
Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.
Pure Storage
Pure Storage has multiple job listings this month related to channel partners, according to LinkedIn.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based data storage vendor seeks the following among its open roles:
- Corporate account executive (AE) making at least $52,000 a year. Tte AE is tasked with “generating revenue and working closely with a network of Channel Partners to successfully sell the Pure Storage solution”
- Principal product manager for VMware and FlashArray making at least $185,0000 a year. The hire will “engage with key account field sales teams and channel partners to support the sales process and drive the overall customer engagement model”
- State, Local and Educational (SLED) account executive (AE) making at least $113,000 a year. Ttis hire will “collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, product managers and channel partners, to develop customized data storage solutions that address customer challenges and create new opportunities for customer success.”
- Enterprise line of business product growth director making at least $205,000 a year. Tte hire will “provide our direct and channel sales functions with the tools and insights required for success.”
Western Digital
Western Digital has an opening for a business development manager who can make at least $93,000 a year.
The San Jose, Calif.-based data storage vendor seeks a manager who can “train and educate sales and channel partners on market applications, product features and road maps” as part of the job, according to the LinkedIn listing.
The hire will “collaborate with ecosystem partners to ensure Western Digital products are on their AVLs and reverence designs” and “work with internal teams and partners to develop demos for trade shows,” among other tasks.
Tanium
On LinkedIn this month, Tanium has several openings related to its channel partners.
The Kirkland, Wash.-based security vendor seeks the following among its open positions:
- Corporate account executive (AE) making at least $40,000 a year. The hire will “work closely with our broad ecosystem of partners to drive the best outcome for customers.”
- Product management director for partnerships and integrations. The hire will “support product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate the adoption of your products and to build Tanium’s brand.”
- Midmarket director of strategic accounts (DSA) making at least $75,000 a year. Candidates should have “experience establishing relationships and selling with and through channel partners.”
BeyondTrust
BeyondTrust seeks a level two account executive (AE) who will align with the “Channel team and Channel Partners to deliver value to our customers and BeyondTrust wherever possible,” according to a LinkedIn listing.
The Johns Creek, Ga.-based identity and access management (IAM) vendor will task the AE with managing “a defined sales territory and be responsible for delivering against a quota goal for the defined territory.” The hire will be “responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, building the go-to-market plan (including direct and indirect business) with a focus on mid market accounts.”
Candidates should have a “bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience” and “2-4+ years customer-facing sales experience with security, PAM, Identity Management, or IT related software, SaaS,” according to the listing.
Barracuda
This month on LinkedIn, Barracuda has an open role for a national account manager for SHI.
The Campbell, Calif.-based security vendor seeks “an experienced channel manager” who will “leverage your ability to develop relationships, drive sales growth and increase mind share” to drive the “go to market strategy with SHI,” according to the LinkedIn listing.
Candidates should have “5+ years’ experience with SHI” with “cloud, storage, IT hardware, software, or services preferred” plus a bachelor’s degree.
Schneider Electric
Schneider Electric seeks a geographic sales engineer who can “become a trusted advisor with assigned Channel Partners, Consultants, Contractors and End Users across several market segments to influence and guide the design of small to large, complex electrical distribution systems in a given territory.”
The France-based automation and energy management vendor wants the engineer to “connect Channel Partners to cutting-edge offers, applications and tools to help them achieve their commercial goals,” according to the LinkedIn listing.
Candidates should have “3+ years relevant sales experience” and “a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Business.”
SentinelOne
On LinkedIn this month, SentinelOne has a listing for an enterprise sales representative who will “partner with our channel team to drive both net-new and recurring revenue.”
The Mountain View, Calif.-based security vendor will task the representative with “building out a direct sales channel as well as various partner led solution channels including managed security services,” according to the listing.
Candidates should have “experience working with channel partners and a strong understanding of a channel-centric GTM” approach plus “15+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Regional Sales Executive/Manager selling endpoint security solutions.”
Cloudflare
A senior partner pricing strategy manager making at least $167,000 a year is among the channel-related open roles available at Cloudflare this month, according to LinkedIn.
The manager will “bring our offerings to our Partner Channels through compelling pricing and packaging strategies” and “collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Services, Product Marketing, and Finance to align our organization behind our strategies to solve customer pain and deliver value,” according to LinkedIn.
The hire will “lead development of pricing strategies that will support and accelerate our sales efforts across the partner channel by understanding the partner sales motion, incentives, ecosystem, and sales enablement requirements” and “partner closely with Sales (Partner Channel team) to understand our channel sales motion and customer feedback in our effort to build customer value, reduce unnecessary sales friction, and capture a reasonable share of that value.”
Candidates should have a “minimum 6 years of experience in pricing strategy at a leading software provider or top tier consulting firm” and a master’s degree.
Cloudflare also seeks an enterprise account executive (AE) who will “build and maintain relationships with channel partners to establish joint value propositions and Customer value,” according to a LinkedIn listing.
Candidates should have a “minimum 6 years of experience coupled with proficiency in Cloud Networking and Security Technology with industry awareness.”
Nutanix
Nutanix has multiple channel-related listings this month on LinkedIn.
Among the open roles at the San Francisco-based cloud computing vendor are:
- Global system integrator (GSI) business development manager making at least $232,400. The hire will “drive activities and initiatives to achieve revenue and pipeline goals to and with the GSI partners.”
- Sales systems engineer making at least $159,200. The hire will “be responsible for identifying technology opportunities and providing channel partner training and enablement.”

Adlumin
An open channel account manager (CAM) position is available at Adlumin this month, according to LinkedIn.
The Washington, D.C.-based security vendor wants the CAM to be “responsible for sales and revenue growth in a geographic territory which includes designated Regional Partners, branches of National Partners, MSPs, MSSPs and Credit Union Service Organizations,” according to the listing.

The Foxborough, Mass.-based company seeks the following among its open jobs:
- Account manager in Tallahassee, Fla. The hire will “seek out targets and initiate contact with multiple prospective clients” and “meet/exceed sales targets by maintaining a sufficient activity and sales pipeline.”
