20 Tech Companies Hiring In The IT Channel: July 2024

Consolidated Communications, Incedo, Cerium Networks, Comcast, Nvidia and Logitech are among the companies to list open positions for channel-related roles in July.

This month, Consolidated Communications, Incedo and Cerium Networks are among the solution providers to list open positions while Comcast, Nvidia and Logitech are among the vendors to list open positions for channel-related roles.

CRN has looked at open listings on LinkedIn that would bring talent into the channel—either by working with a partner or by working with a vendor to support partners.

Open Jobs In The IT Channel

Open roles include:

The unemployment rate in the U.S. remained little changed in June at 4.1 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Multiple tech companies have conducted or announced layoffs in recent weeks, including Microsoft, UiPath and OpenText.

Here are some of the latest job openings in the channel.

Comcast

Jobseekers interested in a role as a partner sales manager for indirect channel sales in the Indiana area might want to look at this opportunity with Comcast.

The Philadelphia-based telecommunications giant wants this manager to work on “developing and implementing strategies for marketing and selling Comcast Business Global products and services through indirect distribution channels,” including managing “ongoing relationships with third-party vendors and indirect channel partners/Technology Service Distributors (TSDs),” according to the LinkedIn listing.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree, although “Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.”

Canonical

A LinkedIn job listing shows that Canonical has an opening for a global channel marketing lead to “grow channel sales through integrated partner marketing programs, across system integrators, public cloud, device manufacturers and semiconductors.”

The England-based publisher of open-source operating system Ubuntu wants the lead to “establish and support relationships with partner sales, channel and marketing teams to improve partner sales potential for Canonical products, services and technologies,” among other duties.

The vendor also wants a U.S. enterprise and public sector channel sales manager, according to a separate LinkedIn listing.

The hire will “develop and execute channel strategy for distributors and resellers within the assigned territory” and “arrange and execute sales and presales trainings to these resellers.”

Candidates should have a “bachelor's level degree, preferably in a technology field,” according to the listing.

Nvidia

Nvidia has an opening this month for a senior manager of global channel partner programs who can make at least $188,000 a year, according to LinkedIn.

The Santa Clara, Calif.-based chipmaker wants this manager to be “responsible for the management of Global Channel Partner Programs” and “serve as a business owner and subject matter authority on partner program methodologies and industry trends,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “12+ overall years of Channel Partner Program management experience spanning the partner ecosystem” and “8+ years in a Channel Partner Program leadership role, or combination partner program management, partner marketing, or channel development experience, in a global capacity,” according to the listing. They should also have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

AppDirect

AppDirect seeks a channel manager who “wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned Technology Advisors in their territory,” according to the LinkedIn listing.

The San Francisco-based subscription commerce platform provider will task this manager with “achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives” and owning “the partner relationship and represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “1+ years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment,” according to the listing.

Fortinet

Fortinet has an opening for a channel account manager who can make at least $180,000 a year, according to LinkedIn.

The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based security vendor wants this manager to “build and promote the Company’s position as the worldwide leader in Unified Threat Management, specifically through the VAR community in the territory,” according to the listing.

This hire will be “accountable for managing all reseller partnerships within the guidelines of Fortinet’s channel programs, spearheading new business development and successfully developing alliances with key solution provider accounts,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “5+ years channel sales and territory management in networking or security sectors” and a college degree.

Logitech

LinkedIn shows that Logitech has multiple channel-related positions available this month.

The San Jose, Calif.-based computer peripherals maker has job openings that include:

RingCentral

RingCentral seeks a regional vice president for public sector channel business development, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Belmont, Calif.-based cloud business communications vendor will task this RVP with “working directly with large and high-priority providers and partners to promote RingCentral’s capabilities for federal and SLED agencies/entities, establish go-to-market solutions and grow overall market penetration,” according to the listing.

The hire will “nurture, ramp, and manage new and existing pipeline of identified channel opportunities by expanding business relationships with partners.”

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, “15+ years working directly with public sector agencies and entities with Leadership experience” and “10+ years of experience in SaaS Partnerships, Product, or Consulting.”

In a separate LinkedIn listing, RingCentral asks for a partner success manager to “serve as internal channel advocate to ensure partner and customer satisfaction.”

The hire will be “utilizing systems and tools to create strong operational processes and efficiency for RingCentral’s strategic partners,” according to the listing. Candidates should have a “bachelor’s degree or equivalent military and/or work experience.”

Freshworks

On LinkedIn, Freshworks has a listing for a channel sales representative who can make at least $72,000 a year.

The San Mateo, Calif.-based CRM software vendor wants this hire to “focus on recruiting, enabling, managing, and driving high-velocity reseller partners,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s and “5+ years of SaaS or partnership experience.”

Pentera

Pentera has an opening for a channel account manager, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Burlington, Mass.-based security vendor wants this hire to “work closely with new and existing reseller partners to develop strategic account plans to grow the adoption of Pentera with national channel partners” and “establish and grow relationships with senior-level contacts in partner organizations to accomplish joint partner strategies,” according to the listing.

Candidates should have “5+ years of experience working in channel management for a technology company in the IT security or infrastructure sector.”

The vendor also seeks a renewal manager who can “manage renewal negotiations with both channel partners and end users,” according to the listing.

The hire will “design, develop, and implement efficient and effective renewal processes and playbooks tailored to Pentera's innovative approach,” among other responsibilities.

Candidates should have “5+ years of experience in renewals management, customer success, or account management role, within the cybersecurity industry,” according to the listing.

Versa Networks

Jobseekers interested in a role as an MSP channel account manager might want to look at this open role at Versa Networks.

The Santa Clara, Calif.-based security vendor wants this manager to “collaborate closely with our partners to develop and execute joint business plans, drive product adoption, and ensure alignment with our company’s goals and strategies,” according to the LinkedIn listing.

The manager will “build and maintain strong relationships with our existing channel partners and MSP & MSSP Prospects.” Candidates should have a “bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field” and “5-8 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development within the SaaS industry,” according to the listing.

Cerium Networks seeks a technical support specialist who can make at least $24 an hour, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Spokane, Wash.-based company–No. 359 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–wants this specialist to “manage IT system maintenance data to ensure information is current and accurate” and “evaluate incoming requests and gather details of problems to create concise yet thorough support cases in support ticketing system,” among other duties, according to the listing.

Candidates should have an “associate’s degree in information technology or computer science, successful completion of a Technical Training Program or two years of related work experience.”

Tech Heads

On LinkedIn this month is an opening for an office manager at Tech Heads.

The Portland, Ore.-based company–No. 411 on CRN’s 2024 Solution Provider 500–wants this manager “to oversee the general office operations and (make) sure the business’s daily office operations run smoothly and efficiently,” according to the listing.

“The Office Manager supports all departments across the organization,” according to the listing. “This position requires superb skills in multi-tasking, attention to detail, customer service, critical thinking, and time management.”

Candidates should “have a minimum of 5 years of related job experience” and at least an associate’s degree.

ISG Technology

An account executive role is open this month at ISG Technology, according to a LinkedIn listing.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based company–a member of CRN’s 2024 MSP 500–wants the AE to accelerate “organizational sales transformation in the mid-market business (75-500 employees)” and educate “clients and prospects on how our core set of technology solutions can grow their business, cut costs, and increase efficiencies,” according to the listing.

Heiden Technology Solutions

Jobseekers interested in a role as an IT support supervisor might want to look at this opening on LinkedIn by Heiden Technology Solutions, which pays at least $45,000 a year.

The Saginaw, Mich.-based company–a member of CRN’s 2024 MSP 500–will task this hire with “overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT help desk team, ensuring efficient and effective support for end-users” and “managing a team of IT support technicians, coordinating workflow, prioritizing projects and the scheduling of tasks,” according to the listing.
