Veeva, Salesforce.com Tighten Pairing To Target Pharma, Biotech

Life sciences SaaS and cloud solution provider Veeva Systems this week tightened its partnership with Salesforce.com to deliver CRM applications to global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Veeva, which is one of CRN's 30 Cloud VARs That Get It, has made itself a cloud Pharma CRM powerhouse through its existing partnership with Salesforce and its Force.com platform.

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Veeva builds and delivers multi-tenant SaaS- and cloud-based solutions and applications to the different facets of the life sciences industry. It leverages Salesforce's Force.com platform to build its apps.

Through their partnership, Veeva and Salesforce will offer integrated, multi-channel CRM applications delivered via the cloud to the global pharmaceutical and biotech industries, the companies said.

Veeva's Pharma CRM offering combines complete functionality for specialty care, primary care, managed market s and KOL management via an application that lets teams integrate their strategies.

It is currently used by more than 50 biopharmaceutical companies globally, running on mobile devices like the Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, BlackBerry smartphones, Windows Mobile devices and Tablet PCs.

Veeva's CRM offerings deliver flexibility on the fly, easy system integration, swift time to value, behind the scenes upgrades and service delivery.
