Oracle CloudWorld 2022: Check Out These Cool Exhibitors
Capgemini, Baker Tilly and Suneratech were among the standsout at Oracle CloudWorld 2022.
Services partners joined tech giants and upstarts at Oracle’s annual CloudWorld 2022, held in person in Las Vegas and streamed online.
Capgemini, Baker Tilly and Suneratech were among the standouts on-site, based on a review of photos and videos shared on social media from CloudWorld.
Vendors that stood out include reporting and analytics tools vendor Orbit, data lakehouse processing engine provider Sqream and continuous testing platform provider AccelQ.

Who was at Oracle Cloud World 2022?
Ron Zapar, CEO of Naperville, Ill.-based Oracle partner Re-Quest, told CRN in an interview that he’s pleased with the company’s moves to accommodate customers’ multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
“We are still in a growth-oriented, thriving business around Oracle on-premises solutions,” Zapar said. “And we‘re quite candidly doing a lot of Microsoft Azure implementations including Oracle on Azure.”
Oracle used the event to unveil a new Oracle platform for partners to build cloud services, a beta for the latest version of Oracle’s converged database and a beta for MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse, among other innovations for the Austin, Texas-based database services giant.
Oracle co-founder and CTO Larry Ellison used his keynote to describe customers’ needs for an “internet of clouds” to prevent vendor lock-in. He also detailed his vision for a national health records database to help with data security and speed up health-care delivery in the U.S.
Here are some of the standouts that shared photos and videos online of their booths and presence at Oracle CloudWorld 2022.
IBM
IBM, which had a booth at CloudWorld 2022, has a partnership with Oracle that spans more than 30 years.
The Armonk, N.Y.-based tech giant’s Oracle consulting services includes more than 10,000 dedicated Oracle consultants who have completed more than 6,500 Oracle projects, according to IBM.
IBM has a RapidMove for Oracle Cloud offering for cloud migrations and the Cognitive Enterprise Business Platform for Oracle Cloud Software as a Service, among other offerings.
In April, IBM announced the availability of IBM bare metal servers for Oracle, allowing customers to bring some Oracle Database licenses to IBM classic infrastructure, with resources hosted and managed by IBM on its private, global network.
Vertex
Tax software vendor Vertex made an appearance at Oracle CloudWorld 2022.
The King of Prussia, Pa.-based, publicly traded company has been an Oracle partner for more than 25 years, according to Vertex. They share more than 1,500 customers.
Vertex integrates with Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (enterprise resource planning) and other Oracle offerings.
In June, Vertex announced that it had won a 2021 Oracle “change agents partner” award for “excellence in helping customers meet their critical business objectives, such as accelerating innovation, driving digital transformation and increasing sustainability using Vertex’s tax solutions.”
The vendor has a partner program. Members include Deloitte, PwC, Gorilla and Kensium.

Orbit Analytics And AirQuery
Representatives with reporting and analytics vendor Orbit and its AirQuery subsidiary were on-site at CloudWorld 2022 to talk about their companies’ offerings.
Alpharetta, Ga.-based Orbit offers tools that integrate with Oracle ERP and more than 200 other data sources, according to the company. Orbit offers more than 1,00 prebuilt reports and datamarts for Oracle FInancials, Supply Chain and HCM (human capital management). It also offers a migration tool for Oracle’s discontinued ad hoc reporting tool Discoverer.
AirQuery offers business intelligence and analytics tools as Software as a Service for users without much coding experience and data engineers, according to the company. AirQuery’s Pipelines offering can load data into data warehouses from Oracle, Snowflake, Amazon Web Services and other vendors.
Orbit has a partner program, with members including Deloitte, Data Intensity and Capgemini.
Capgemini
Among the exhibitors at CloudWorld 2022 was Capgemini, No. 5 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500.
The France-based company offers an integrated suite of Oracle ERP Cloud and NetSuite Cloud services, with a portfolio of services specifically aimed at manufacturers and human resources professionals, according to Capgemini.
The Capgemini-Oracle partnership goes back 25 years, according to Capgemini. In January, Capgemini published a report on how it and Oracle Consulting delivered a combination of Oracle products to automate Heathrow Airport’s finance, HR, revenue, service and asset management functions and to update the airport’s high-volume aeronautical billing transactions with airlines.
In October, Capgemini published a report on how it used Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) software on an on-premises PeopleSoft application to deliver a new human resources information system (HRIS) for Belgium’s ministry of defense.

Sqream
Sqream offers a hybrid analytics platform that promises to speed up users’ total time to insight on any size data.
The New York-based vendor works with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), offering a data lakehouse processing engine designed for petabytes-scale analytical workload, according to Sqream. It also works with Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA) to speed up report creation.
Sqream has a partner program aimed at vendors and systems integrators, according to the company.
In December, Sqream bought cloud data platform provider Panoply.

Baker Tilly
Baker Tilly, a 91-year-old public accounting and consulting firm, offers midmarket and Fortune 50 companies capabilities across Oracle’s Cloud platforms.
The Chicago-based firm offers Oracle Analytics Cloud road-mapping and design, Oracle Cloud EPM (enterprise performance management) governance and management infrastructure and tools, Oracle SCM (supply chain management) Cloud assessments and optimization and other capabilities, according to Baker Tilly.
In September, Baker Tilly launched the KolNow self-service, an online portal for life sciences companies to evaluate qualifications and expertise of health-care professional key opinion leaders used in consulting engagements, skipping resume collection and analysis.
Baker Tilly has been on an acquisition spree, recently buying tax consultancy True Partners Consulting and local government consultancy Management Partners.
Wipro
Wipro, No. 15 on CRN’s 2022 Solution Provider 500, has been an Oracle partner for more than 15 years.
The India-based company’s Oracle-focused offerings include the QuMiC (quick migration to Oracle Cloud) platform. In June, Oracle published a report on Wipro moving its airline and air carpo products—including Croamis and Tops, used by Qatar Airways and others—to OCI.
In February, Wipro published a report on partnering with Oracle to migrate Brazilian water and waste management company Sanepar’s back-office operations to Oracle Cloud ERP.

Arcion
Representatives with data mobility platform startup Arcion were on-site at Oracle CloudWorld 2022.
Founded in 2016, the San Mateo, Calif.-based vendor promises real-time enterprise database replication with the ability to transfer a terabyte of data in less than 30 minutes, automatic schema conversion, fully managed data change data capture (CDC) in the cloud, and other capabilities, according to Arcion.
Arcion Cloud connects with Oracle, MySQL, Databricks, Snowflake and SingleStore, according to the company.
In February, Arcion, formerly called Blitzz, secured a $13 million Series A round of funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Databricks participated, according to Arcion.

Suneratech
Suneratech is a managed services provider and consultancy whose partners include Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.
The Troy, Mich.-based companys offerings include the CloudTestr enterprise test automation platform, which aims to speed up web application testing and improve API security, among other actions.
Suneratech’s RingMaster Studio is an integrated suite of life-cycle automation modules for managing patches, customization, testing and other capabilities. Its eSeal offering promises control and visibility of digital supply chains. And ServiceNext brings an end-to-end conversational artificial intelligence experience for customers.
The company also offers a free Oracle EBS upgrade assessment, according to Suneratech.

AccelQ
AccelQ sent representatives to CloudWorld 2022 to talk about the vendor’s continuous testing platform, which integrates with Oracle offerings.
The Dallas-based vendor has a partner program, with services partners including Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro, Accenture and Carahsoft, according to AccelQ.
In June, AccelQ released version 5.2 of its product, introducing a project sidebar, enhanced entity tabs, an improved search, new and new ETL (extract, transform, load) test automation capabilities, among other offerings. The new ETL capabilities support more SQL databases, including Oracle’s, according to AccelQ.
In April, AccelQ unveiled its Live platform, which promises real-time release alignment and pre-built reusable automated test assets for various enterprise and cloud applications to improve continuous delivery and speed up development cycles, according to the vendor.
