Veeam Grows 65 Percent In 3Q

After seeing tremendous growth in the third quarter of 2014, Veeam is turning its attention to transforming its partners into service providers.

"In Q3, we grew 65 percent, and we expect for the whole year to grow around 40 percent," CEO Ratmir Timashev said.

Timashev said the rapid growth is thanks to new solutions, like the recently launched Veeam Cloud Connect platform. That solution also serves partners who want to add recurring revenue to their profits.

"It's a new, powerful functionality specifically designed for our partners, for service providers, for managed service providers, as well as our regular partners who want to become service providers," Timashev said.

"This platform is very simple to install; it takes literally 10 to 15 minutes to install and start offering these services," he said.

Baar, Switzerland-basedVeeam expects the growth to continue next year, and the company would like to add new partners from North America, specifically those who understand that "the need for the modern data center is evolving."

"We will continue to grow very nicely in 2015," Timashev predicted. "We see a lot of demand, especially for the cloud backup in the future, [and] cloud recovery, so we see a lot of additional revenue for our partners."

"We are a hundred-percent channel company, and we do everything with our partners in mind," he said.
