The MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac are all eligible. The Mac mini, 17" iMac, Apple TV, iPhone, iPod shuffle, iPod classic, 4GB iPod nano, and refurbished products are not eligible, According to Apple.
Customers using Apple's Education Individual discount between June 3 and Sept. 15 are eligible to apply for the $299 rebate if products are purchased from Apple at its online, retail or education stores or at an authorized Apple Campus Store in the U.S.
The offer is open to students attending or accepted into a higher education institution, as well as faculty and staff, and to any employee of a public or private K-12 school. Qualified homeschoolers are also eligible to receive the rebate, along with school board members or PTA or PTO officers.
