Park Place Makes Two Key Exec Hires, Aims To Establish Global Brand With 'Robust' Marketing Plan
Park Place Technologies this week announced the additions of Jennifer Deutsch and Grant Stanis as CMO and CFO, respectively, as the third-party maintenance (TPM) provider prepares its leadership team for expansion.
Deutsch and Stanis join Park Place, No. 208 on the CRN Solution Provider 500, during a time of rapid growth for the Cleveland-based company, which has made three acquisitions within the past year. Those purchases include Prestige Data Centre Solutions and enterprise storage support provider Com-Com – both of which maintain a strong European presence – and Dover, N.H.-based TPM provider Ardent Support Technologies.
Park Place's size, quick-rise trajectory and a strong array of vendor certifications combine to make it one of only a few dozen CRN Triple Crown winners.

"What interested me was, No. 1, the culture at Park Place Technologies," said Deutsch. "No. 2, it's a unified leadership team that has an aligned vision. And No. 3 is the tremendous growth Park Place has exhibited and will in the future, both organically and also through acquisition."
Deutsch, a marketing veteran with 23 years of client experience and another 10 years as founder and COO of an agency, last served as senior VP of marketing at Energy Focus, an energy-efficient LED lighting provider.
She promises to bring a fresh perspective to rising channel star Park Place, having helped develop Nestle's "Lean Cuisine" brand of products, and later, refining the branding at both Renaissance Hotels and Marriott International.
"I think what I bring is the ability to transfer best practices from my branding experience and bring it to Park Place as we build out a global brand that's trusted and respected, and position ourselves as a global leader in providing third-party maintenance services," Deutsch said.
Stanis comes to Park Place from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a deals practice director and has developed particular expertise when it comes to domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, with participation in more than 150 M&A deals on his resume.
As CFO, Stanis will spearhead Park Place's investments and capital allocation strategy.
"I couldn't be more thrilled to welcome Grant to Park Place," CEO Ed Kenty said in a statement. "With Park Place's growth and global expansion, Grant's ability to lead a financial function for a growing business was a natural fit."
Digital marketing will be an important component of Deutsch's Park Place strategy – which she says will involve a "very robust" 360 marketing plan – because of the benefits and efficiencies those tools provide.
"We're looking at all companies and what their digital strategies have been. We don't necessarily need to stay in the box," Deutsch said. "In fact, we're going to break out of the box. We're looking at a much bigger, broader way to communicate.
"Keep an eye on us. I think you're going to see some great, creative innovation coming out of the marketing team from Park Place."
