MSP CEO: Trump's Presidency Calls For 'Bottom Line' Focus
Lloyd Group CEO Adam Eiseman said his company shifted to become more financially conservative after the Nov. 8 presidential election.
"Politically, we're all over the spectrum on our leadership team, but as a group, we're not sure necessarily what the next 12 months are going to bring," said Eiseman, in an interview with CRN at XChange Solution Provider 2017.
"There seems to be some sort of uncertainty politically on whether or not the parties are actually going to get anything done … So we decided to become more conservative for the next 12 months and to reevaluate on a quarterly basis. So we took some of our objectives, and we throttled them back," said Eiseman.

Lloyd Group, a Princeton, N.J.-based solution provider who made CRN's 2016 MSP 500: Elite 150, decided to focus more on the bottom line growth of its business compared to the top line after President Donald Trump's victory on November 8.
Eiseman's advice to fellow managed service providers is to consider a change of pace for the near future.
"Go with your heart and with what you believe, but if you do believe there's some uncertainty, if you don’t feel like you have a clear vision as to what's going to happen … I would slow down, but not stop moving towards that vision, and I would become more conservative," said Eiseman. "But don’t stop evaluating and be ready to make a change. Don’t stop moving, but consider changing the pace of your movement."
