Lenovo Launches Three Multimedia Notebooks
the IdeaPad Y460p, IdeaPad Y560p and IdeaCentre K330 multimedia
The 14-inch and 15.6-inch IdeaPad Y460p and IdeaPad Y560p include 1.366 x 768 pixel screen resolution and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The IdeaPad Y460p and Y560p run on Intel Core i7 processors and Windows 7, and they come with 750 GB of hard drive storage, 8 GB of DDR3 1333 memory, and Ethernet and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.
As for entertainment, both IdeaPads come with JBL speakers, Dolby Home Theater support, and the OneKey Theater feature for improved audio and visual quality during movies.
The IdeaCentre K330 also runs on Intel Core i7 chips and Windows 7. It also includes 16 GB of DDR3 memory, up to 4TB of additional hard-drive storage, and Intel Turbo Boost technology.

"The Y460p, Y560p and K330 all feature speedy performance and advanced processing in a sleek form factor. Immense storage and high-quality graphics make these ideal for those looking for a superior and easy multimedia experience."
Users can enhance the performance of these systems with Lenovo's RapidDrive function, which combines 32-GB SSD and HDD capacity, or Windows 7 Lenovo Enhanced Experience , a certification that increases shutdown speed by 50 percent and boot time by 33 percent.
The IdeaCentre's entertainment features include HD graphics support for an HD display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution, DVD and Blu-ray drives, and support for DirectX 11. It also comes with Lenovo Eye Distance System, which informs users when their eyes are too close to the monitor and OneKey recovery, which makes data backup and recovery simpler, as with upgrades and replacements.
Lenovo will begin selling the IdeaPad Y460p and Y560p through its Web site on January 11 for a starting price of $849. The IdeaCentre K330 will also be available on the company's site sometime early next year, for a starting price of $699.
