Verizon, Cingular Broaden Notebook Wireless Data Offerings
Cingular Wireless, owned by AT&T and BellSouth, said unlimited BroadbandConnect service is available for $59.99 a month for subscribers who have certain Cingular voice contracts. Cingular also announced it will offer international plans later this year – one to cover Mexico and Canada; the other for overseas markets.
In another wireless development, Verizon Wireless said availability for its BroadbandAccess high speed EV-DO service will be available on selected Dell Latitude, Lenovo, and HP Compaq notebook computers.
