Extended Systems Introduces Enterprise Wireless Groupware Solution

OneBridge Mobile Groupware replaces Boise, Idaho-based Extended Systems' existing XTNDConnect Server product.

The new product is a wireless e-mail solution that works on a host of devices and networks. Based on an open push architecture, Live Connect supports multiple device platforms such as Pocket PC and Palm, and multiple wireless networks including 2.5G, WLAN and Bluetooth.

The OneBridge Mobile Groupware realtime feature also allows e-mail access from any browser-enabled device at locations with WiFi hot spots. In addition, remote users have the ability to access custom enterprise applications, groupware applications and CRM and ERP applications on one mobile platform.

A new user interface alerts users of data receipt and delivery whether or not they are connected. The OneBridge software solution also supports Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes.
