Master Agent Intelisys Acquires Cloud Services Coalition

CSC, which is a collaborative group of nationwide integrators specializing in cloud services deployments, will become Intelisys' Cloud Services and Complex Bids business unit. It will focus on supporting Intelisys partners through the technical, business, application discovery, solution design, project management and installation and training aspects of deploying cloud-based solutions to customers.

"As a turnkey cloud services integrator, CSC is already doing the heavy lifting on complex cloud solutions for a growing base of channel partners, and has already provide over 150 Intelisys sales partners with training, sales assistance and customer support," Jay Bradley, Intelisys' president, said in a statement.

CSC was originally formed in May 2010 as a joint effort of Terrapin and Concierge Communications, and was then known as the Cloud Roundtable. Terrapin became its sole owner in 2011. The acquisition is expected to close on May 1, and Intelisys will take over the coalition's supplier contracts.

Terrapin Solutions will remain a separate entity and remain fully owned by Andrew Pryfogle, who will also lead the Intelisys unit as senior vice president and general manager. The current CSC team will be fully integrated into Intelisys, the companies said.
