Mirage Networks Unveils New Partner Program

The Mirage Networks ChannelFirst, program hinges on a number of efforts designed to help solution providers raise awareness about the CounterPoint product.

"We want to build a relationship with our channel partners so they can qualify and generate business with more customers," said Scott Olson, vice president of marketing at Austin, Texas-based Mirage. "We want to create a one-stop-shop for ideas to make our product easier to sell."

The new program includes access to demand-generation programs, exclusive co-branded partner collateral and sales tools and deal registration for increased product discounts.

The program also boasts a variety of technical certification programs that increase MDF by $1,000 per certified employee. Solution providers also can earn MDF on a monthly basis as a percentage of revenue, and can earn more as part of a rebate when they invest in a "tech starter" kit to demo CounterPoint technology to customers.

Once solution providers have earned MDF, they can spend the money on marketing initiatives available through the ChannelFirst Web portal. Some of these initiatives include an e-mail campaign, three-dimensional mailers and a seminar promotion.

With 30 partners on board, Olson said Mirage hopes to double its channel roster by the end of the year.
