Security MSP Launches Partner Program

Announced this week, SecurePipe's Channel Partner Program is designed to help solution provides and MSPs more effectively sell the vendor's mailMAX email security solution, according to SecurePipe, Lincolnshire, Ill.

MailMAX is a service that can be hosted by the vendor and privately labeled by solution partners as their own. The service can monitor all incoming and outgoing e-mail to reduce security threats such as viruses, malware, according to the vendor.

"Offering our partners the opportunity to brand mailMAX under their name is a very exciting opportunity," said Art Roldan, president and CEO of SecurePipe, in a statement. "It enables many partners to expand their own brand name in the industry."

The new program offers partners free sales and technical training, and marketing assistance in the form of sales kits and promotional tools. The vendor has dedicated a channel account team to aid partners in setting and hitting sales and profit goals, according to SecurePipe.

Right now the vendor has about 100 solution providers reselling its products, and there's room for more, said Roldan.

The average cost of mailMAX for a 500-user network is under $650 per month, a cost partners typically mark up in excess of 40 percent, he said.

Free 30-day trials of the vendor's product are also available for partners without obligation, the vendor said.

Because SecurePipe has a strong history of delivering its services to financial institutions, mailMAX can also be enlisted to aid a customer in meeting certain compliance goals, according to SecurePipe.

MailMAX can be calibrated to filtered all suspicious e-mail and quarantine it outside the network. Infected files, inappropriate content, and confidential data can all be controlled using the service, according to the vendor.
