ESET World 2025: Cybersecurity Giant Expands AI Advisor, MDR Access
AI Advisor leverages ESET’s 20-plus years of data and answers security inquiries, provides summaries and compiles indicators of compromise.
Increased access to the ESET AI Advisor artificial intelligence chatbot. Making its managed detection and response (MDR) offering available to MSPs. And a new ransomware remediation feature.
These are among the biggest announcements to come out of the ESET World 2025 conference, which runs this week in Las Vegas.
“We understand the critical challenges MSPs face in today’s fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape, from tackling talent shortages to scaling services for diverse clients,” Michal Jankech, ESET’s vice president of enterprise, small and midsize business and MSP, said in a statement. “By integrating advanced AI capabilities, and providing tailored training programs, we empower our partners in North America to deliver exceptional protection, build trust with their clients and grow their businesses.”

ESET World 2025
The Slovakia-based cybersecurity vendor has about 10,000 channel partners worldwide, according to CRN’s 2025 Channel Chiefs. ESET has more than 110 million users across 190-plus countries. Its detection engine processes more than 300,000 unique, new malware samples per day.
As part of the channel-focused business portfolio updates, ESET has made its ESET AI Advisor generative AI chatbot available for ESET Protect Enterprise, Protect Elite, Protect MDR and more XDR and endpoint detection and response (EDR) customers, according to ESET.
AI Advisor leverages ESET’s 20-plus years of data and answers security inquiries, provides summaries, compiles indicators of compromise (IoCs) and more.
ESET expanded its MDR offering to MSPs with the goal of filling security gaps for MSPs that do not want to rely on a resource-heavy extended detection and response (XDR) tool.
Available as an add-on service to ESET Protect Enterprise or Protect Elite, ESET MDR is available 24 hours a day with response times as little as 20 minutes. It provides proactive threat hunting and experts up to date on the latest ESET research and threat intelligence.
ESET MDR has an AI-native detection engine and comes with daily billing or monthly invoicing, which is based on the number of seats the MSP wants to cover.
The company also unveiled a new ransomware remediation feature for quick prevention and addressing of ransomware attacks against clients on Windows-based systems, available as a free addition for channel partner customers with ESET Protect Advanced tier or higher.
The feature creates secure data backups with automated file recovery and restoration. The feature is meant to complement the real-time Ransomware Shield ESET already offers. Ransomware remediation, built on ESET LiveSense, immediately creates backups until the system confirms whether suspicious activity is malicious. If it is malicious, Shield kills the process and rolls back the files from the backups.
If the activity is benign, users can discard the backups. Ransomware remediation has its own protected storage section on the drive. Attackers can’t modify, corrupt or delete those files.
Cloud Office Security Updates
Other major updates from ESET World include an improved Cloud Office Security offer with new anti-spoofing capabilities to detect and block imposter messages. Cloud Office Security also now has homoglyph protection for identifying disguised malicious domains and web addresses to help prevent phishing attacks.
The Cloud Office Security module also gained an email clawback feature for quickly recalling and quarantining suspicious delivered emails.
ESET has also expanded its Cyber Threat Intelligence services from eight to 15 threat feeds with actionable, curated, metadata-rich data for ransomware, malicious email attachments, texting scams and other threats.
These services feature deduplicated telemetry delivered in real time for quick actions by threat analysts.
In addition, ESET added new tiers to its advanced persistent threat (APT) reports, with technical analysis reports and activity summary reports for threat analysts and monthly overviews and digests for CISOs. The reports have details on IoCs, Snort rules, Shodan, Censys queries and more.
APT Report Advanced and Ultimate tiers provide access to ESET AI Advisor. Ultimate adds access to ESET Analysts for resolving issues and collaborating with security threat hunters.
