Agiliance Launches MSSP Program for Risk Management
The firm competes with Secaucus, N.J.-based RSAM, Overland Park, Kan.-based LockPath and Atlanta-based Modulo. All the platforms provide connectors to SIEM and DLP systems, configuration and asset management as well as a variety of vulnerability scanners. They provide a management console and reporting capabilities for compliance.

The new program will provide tiered delivery of M-RaaS for threat, incident and compliance programs, access to online and onsite training and MSSP certification with Agiliance branding. MSSPs in the new program will also be provided 24/7 access to Agiliance's support team and access to a portal for marketing and support materials.
Agiliance said its program has starter packages available and there is no annual commitment. Annual subscriptions are tied to customer usage, the company said.
The company said the platform may appeal to MSSPs that conduct incident response, security monitoring and frequent data assessments to help firms meet regulatory compliance mandates.
Cognosec, a managed services provider based in Vienna, Austria, is using the Agiliance platform as the management interface for its Tripwire configuration management platform. The MSSP provides compliance and audit services to online gaming companies. The Agiliance platform works well in the gaming industry, which has a complex regulatory environment, Cognosec CEO Oliver Eckel told CRN. It can take vulnerability scanners and scour code tools and integrate it with a company's business processes to provide an organization with its security posture.
"It's complex to manage all your security tools," Eckel said. "We connect it to the business process, map the IT processes and give a business person an idea of where to put their budget."
