Michael Dell is known for making bold moves such as the $67 billion purchase of EMC and bringing together seven unique businesses including Dell Technologies, EMC and VMware. Now, he’s continuing to place big bets on where tech is headed next, including on unprecedented opportunities he sees in 5G and artificial intelligence.

“AI, machine learning, deep learning are so pervasive now,” Dell told CRN. “They’re really enabling foundational technologies that are running through everything we’re doing—from products to services to sales—and I think that’s going to be true for every company that succeeds in the future.”
