Storix Software Is Looking For Partners

San Diego-based software company Storix is fishing for partners, and it's using its backup and recovery solutions as bait.

Sales and Marketing Director Manuel Altamirano pitched CRNtv on the company’s flagship product, its bare-metal recovery solution for Linux, AIX and Solaris. The solution promises to minimize server downtime due to anything from a corrupt system file to a major natural disaster.

Storix also provides adaptable system recovery for virtual machines, provisioning and cloning solutions, physical to virtual storage consolidation and ZFS file system migration.

Storix's backup services include live data backup, off-site recovery, backup data encryption and network security.

Right now, the company is aggressively pursuing new channel partnerships.

"Today we have a number of channels that we go to market with, and that would include distribution channels. We just signed up with Ingram Micro, and we're currently in a partner recruitment phase, so if there are any resellers or partners out there that might be interested in maybe adding a really solid product to their portfolio, we'd love to talk to you," said Altamirano.
