Business continuity and disaster recovery startup Zerto has plenty to celebrate. The Boston-based company saw 129 percent growth in the channel last year and with its Cloud Fabric product, which offers seamless portability of applications. According to Director of Partner Marketing Mariah West, Zerto is already ’on target to exceed that growth’ this year.
Zerto, whose name comes from the concept of ’Zero RTO,’ also recently expanded its global presence with offices in the U.K. and Australia.
Zerto provides enterprise-class business continuity and disaster recovery solutions. ’Disaster recovery is all about reducing downtime,’ West told CRN.
West was enthusiastic about opportunities for the channel around disaster recovery. ’Our channel is really our extended sales team, they’re our feet on the street,’ she said.
The company also is embracing the call to enable applications to span both on-premise and cloud data centers with its Cloud Fabric product, which offers seamless replication. ’This is really in line with what the market is telling us they need next,’ West said.
According to West, Cloud Fabric ’at its core means customers have choice in platforms.’ West added that the product opens ’a phenomenal opportunity for partners’ looking to work with new customers.
