CRN Exclusive: SimpliVity CEO Takes Aim At Amazon, Launches Cloud Service Provider Program

Hyper-converged infrastructure superstar SimpliVity is hitting the ground running in 2016. This week, the Westborough, Mass.-based company took aim at Amazon Web Services with a new cloud service provider program.
SimpliVity is also looking to get its software on servers from an expanded roster of vendors, a move that CEO Doron Kempel believes will make up more than 50 percent of SimpliVity's sales this year.
In an exclusive interview with CRN, Kempel lashed out at Amazon Web Services and sounded off on his company's partnership with Cisco and the battle against rival Nutanix.
