TechData Kicks Off TechSelect Conference -- Vegas Style!
A convincing Elvis Presley got the crowd going with a raucous rendition of "Viva Las Vegas."
Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton followed up with his hit "Danke Schon."
Ol' Blue Eyes took the stage for "The Lady Is a Tramp."
Aretha Franklin, the 1960s version, bellowed out "Respect" and had the solution providers in attendance clapping along.
The entertainers were followed by Murray Wright, senior vice president of sales at Tech Data. Wright promised he would not try to sing.
Wright brough on stage Dan Normal, president of 7 Layer Solutions, a Saxonburg, Pa.-based solution provider, to yell out "It's all about TechSelect, baby!" It was a phrase he screamed several times while under hypnosis at the last TechSelect meeting in Orlando.

Puzant Ozbag, president of based Pricon, second from left, received the award for Fastest Growing Member. The Anaheim, Calif.-based solution provider grew its Tech Data business more than 412 percent in the 12-month period that ended April 30. Olson, Ruggeri and Wright also presented the award.
