20 Solution Providers With New AWS Partner Statuses And Competencies
The top-ranked public cloud provider continues to build out its expansive global partner network by introducing the Amazon Connect Service Delivery Partner program.

Blu, Metova, Syslink Xandria, JASK, Corvil and Immuta are among companies that are now Advanced Technology Partners for Amazon Web Services, and Ventech Solutions and Pyramid Systems are newly minted AWS Advanced Consulting Partners as the top-ranked public cloud provider continues to build out its expansive global partner program.
AWS, which launched its cloud computing efforts in 2006, this month introduced theAmazon Connect Service Delivery Partner program to help partners improve customer experiences and outcomes through Amazon Connect, its self-service, cloud-based contact center service. USAN, an Atlanta cloud-based customer engagement solutions provider, has earned that designation.
AWS month also launched the AWS Direct Connect Service Delivery designation. Direct Connect provides the ability to create private network connections between a datacenter, office or colocation environment and AWS. Digital Realty is among the partners who are exclusively authorized to provision the new AWS Direct Connect Hosted Connections capacities greater than 500 Mbps.
AWS’ Amazon Partner Network (APN) helps channel partners build AWS-based businesses or solutions with business, technical, sales and marketing support.

USAN Achieves Amazon Connect Service Delivery Designation
USAN, an Atlanta cloud-based customer engagement solutions provider, has achieved the Amazon Connect Service Delivery Designation for its professional services practice.
Amazon Connect is a self-service, pay-as-a-you-go cloud-based contact center service designed to make it easier for businesses to deliver better customer service at lower cost.
The AWS Service Delivery Program identifies and endorses APN Partners with customer experience and a deep understanding of specific AWS services. It recognizes USAN’s ability to identify customer pain-points and design a solution based on Amazon Connect and other AWS services.
“Our team of AWS-certified professionals focus on helping companies achieve their contact center transformation goals by leveraging the agility, innovation and reliability that is Amazon Connect and AWS,” Steve Walton, USAN’s chief executive officer, said in a statement.
USAN’s professional services practice has a Jumpstart program that delivers an Amazon Connect proof of concept in under two weeks in addition to implementation and systems integration services. USAN services include interactive voice response builds, skills-based routing logic and Amazon Lex chatbot development. The company also offers USAN Contact Suite, whichare pre-packaged solutions intended to extend the power of Amazon Connect with applications including a workflow-driven agent desktop and outbound dialer functionality that work with Amazon Connect and the larger AWS ecosystem.
Blu Earns Advanced Technology Partner Status
Burbank, Calif.-based Blu’s BluEvo division has earned Advanced Technology Partner status for its expertise in cloud-based digital media processing.
Blu is a digital media supply chain solutions provider that processes, qualifies and distributes film and television content to online video streaming platforms using BluCloud, its automated cloud-based software.
"The BluCloud suite of SaaS (software-as-a-service) digital media supply-chain solutions provides our customers with a seamless and integrated workflow based in the cloud and leveraging AWS solutions,” Russ Moffat, BluEvo’s vice president and general manager, said in a statement. “There has been tremendous value working within the APN, and we look forward to benefiting even more from our APN Advanced Technology status.”
Cloudreach Gets AWS Government Competency
London cloud computing consultancy Cloudreach has attained the AWS Government Competency for providing solutions to government customers that deliver mission-critical workloads and applications on AWS.
The competency acknowledges Cloudreach’s experience in infrastructure management, justice and public safety, financial and fiscal affairs, citizen services, security and compliance and open data.
“We have worked with public sector organizations across Europe and North America, on a range of areas including critical national infrastructure,” Chris Bunch, head of Cloudreach in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said in a statement. “We’ve partnered with diverse departments including justice, meteorological, transportation and financial regulation.”
Metova Named Advanced Technology Partner
Franklin, Tenn.-based Metova, a mobile, connected car, connected home and internet-of-things solutions (IoT) provider, has been named an AWS Advanced Technology Partner.
Metova helps businesses increase customer loyalty by leveraging emerging IoT, mobile, web, connected home and car and other technologies. It is a development and strategic partner for connected and mobile-first companies including Yale Locks, TruGreen, and Travel Nurse Across America.
"We excel at working alongside our clients' IT (information technology) departments to take a look at their current IT footprint including physical servers, databases and installed software,” Kent Watson, Metova’s vice president of technology, said in a statement. “We are able to work with them to come up with a hybrid architecture strategy to move to the cloud to support mobile, web or IoT solutions and at the same time synchronize or exchange data with internal systems that may have to stay in service due to budget, complexity or other reasons.”
AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency For Adverity
Adverity, a data intelligence platform provider, has achieved AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency, making it the first Austrian company to secure the designation as a launch partner, it said.
The Vienna-based Adverity earned the designation in the Customer 360 technology track, which recognizes its technical and business capabilities in delivering solutions for actionable customer data with relevant business metrics and near real-time decision support.
Adverity’s platform, which helps organizations make marketing decisions, integrates data from hundreds of advertising, commerce, customer relationship management and analytics platforms, and augments that data with artificial intelligence (AI).
Launched in 2015, Adverity is focused on PreSense, its latest AI-powered product, which is under closed beta testing for select clients and will be launched later this year.
Privacy Tech Startup WireWheel Obtains AWS Security Competency
Privacy technology startup WireWheel has obtained the AWS Security Competency.
The two-year-old, Arlington, Va., company, which has a SaaS platform for global data compliance, provides privacy tools to help small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises develop and deploy complex security projects on AWS. It specializes in enabling the building or retrofitting of privacy-by-design principles into product or service development and delivery.
Its new AWS competency acknowledges its "privacy program in a box" platform and expertise in privacy, data science and security as it helps customers with privacy-related cloud security, according to WireWheel.
"Achieving AWS Security Competency status reinforces our ability to provide AWS customers with the ability to share privacy-related insights across their entire organization and…additional insights that are unique to the security professionals' perspective, enabling the team sport approach that modern privacy compliance requires,” Justin Antonipillai, WireWheel’s founder and CEO, said in a statement.
Ventech Solutions Lands Advanced Consulting Partner Status
Columbus-based Ventech Solutions, a healthcare solutions provider for the federal government and commercial clients, has AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status.
The company said the status further validates its ability to help design, architect, build, migrate and manage workloads and applications on AWS.
“This is a stellar achievement that proves our expertise and commitment in providing secure, reliable, scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions to our clients through AWS,” chief delivery officer Gene Noble said in a statement.
Digital Realty Secures AWS Direct Connect Service Delivery Designation
San Francisco’s Digital Realty has secured the AWS Service Delivery designation for AWS Direct Connect, which means it’s now authorized to provision the new AWS Direct Connect Hosted Connections capacities greater than 500 Mbps.
Digital Realty is a data center, colocation and interconnection solutions provider that owns and operates almost 200 data centers.
"Our team is committed to continue empowering our customers with access to scalable, flexible and cost-effective solutions such as AWS and via our own Digital Realty Service Exchange to address their business needs," chief technology officer Chris Sharp said in a statement.
Digital Realty customers can connect to AWS privately via dedicated connections or the Digital Realty Service Exchange. The exchange provides enterprises private, high-throughput, low-latency access over a single interface to cloud service providers and partners, allowing users to manage physical and virtual connections through a single portal and giving them visibility and reporting capabilities needed to address connectivity requirements more rapidly and efficiently.
Syslink Xandria Named An Advanced Technology Partner
Syslink Xandria, an SAP and cloud management monitoring and automation solutions provider, is now an AWS Advanced Technology Partner.
The Richmond, England-based company’s Xandria product is designed to improve productivity, automation and compliance. It offers performance-based AWS auto-scaling and hybrid cloud and on-premises SAP landscape management designed to simplify the operations of large-scale SAP landscapes.
“One of the biggest challenges of SAP cloud migration is optimizing SAP systems in the dynamic cloud environment,” Simon Wilson, Syslink Xandria’s chief operating officer, said in a statement. “Syslink Xandria is leveraging the power of AWS to help SAP-centric businesses expedite their cloud migration and ensure cost savings and operational efficiency.”
Nerdery Accepted into AWS Public Sector Partner Program
Nerdery has been named an AWS Public Sector Partner.
The Minneapolis digital business consultancy said it will leverage the new status to help federal, state and local government, education and nonprofit agencies run their workloads on AWS.
“We understand the public sector’s unique opportunity to approach digital transformation, which is why we prioritize digital ethics, accessibility and citizen privacy,” Sean Feeney, Nerdery’s cloud engineering practice director, said in a statement. “By leveraging additional AWS support and training resources provided through the AWS Public Sector Partner Program, our public sector clients will benefit from industry-leading technology services and an accelerated cloud journey.”
Torstone Earns Financial Services Competency
London’s Torstone Technology, a financial technology firm that provides post-trade securities and derivatives processing technology, has been granted the AWS Financial Services Competency.
Torstone said it was an early adopter of the AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). It launched its cloud-based Inferno platform for VPC environments in 2013, when it extended its service from in-house hosting to fully managed SaaS availability within a VPC. Inferno is a cross-asset, post-trade SaaS platform with flexible global deployment that supports fully cloud-hosted solutions.
Tantus Technologies Recognized As AWS Select Consulting Partner
Tantus Technologies-has obtained AWS Select Consulting Partner status, which the company said affirms its commitment to aligning with the U.S. federal government's cloud-first strategy.
APN Consulting Partners are professional services firms that help clients architect, design, build, deploy and manage their workloads and applications on AWS.
Based in Arlington, Va., Tantus Technologies is an IT and management consulting firm specializing in health IT, strategy and program/project management, cybersecurity and privacy, financial management and system development solutions.
SAIC Scores AWS DevOps Competency
Reston, Va.-based Science Applications International Corp. has attained the AWS DevOps Competency for its experience in helping customers implement continuous integration and continuous delivery practices (CI/CD) and automate infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS.
SAIC is a technology integrator working in the federal government and commercial markets, including the defense, space, federal civilian and intelligence sectors. It provides systems engineering and integration, enterprise IT, cloud services, cyber, software, advanced analytics and simulation, and training solutions.
The company, which is a member of the AWS Public Sector Partner program, previously achieved AWS Government Competency status.
Advanced Technology Partner Status For JASK
Austin, Texas-based JASK, a cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM) platform provider, now has AWS Advanced Technology Partner status.
The APN Advanced Technology Partner designation, the highest tier for APN Technology Partners, is for organizations that provide software and SaaS solutions.
The JASK SIEM Autonomous Security Operations Center platform was built on AWS. It streamlines security analyst workflows by automating repetitive tasks that restrict productivity, freeing them for higher-value roles such as threat hunting and vulnerability management.
“There’s no doubt that SIEM platforms are ready for a move to the cloud,” Rob Fry, vice president of engineering at JASK, said in a statement. “It provides SOC (security operations center) teams with leap-level benefits by easily aggregating high volumes of usage and activity data while providing easy programmatic interfaces for retrieval and analysis in the cloud.”
Corvil Acquires Advanced Technology Partner Status
Corvil, which specializes in performance monitoring and analytics for electronic financial markets, has attained AWS Advanced Technology Partner status.
The Dublin, Ireland, company works with banks, brokerages, exchanges, data providers and hedge funds across hybrid cloud environments.
Corvil of late has been showcasing its Intelligence Hub in AWS as a rapidly deployable and easily scalable electronic trading business intelligence solution designed to improve the client/trader experience, execution quality and operations of electronic trading businesses. It applies the power of big data analytics and machine learning to the voluminous, high-integrity data captured by Corvil appliances from networks and virtual infrastructures.
“Ascloud adoption in capital markets becomes more prevalent, we are invigorating our innovation efforts to extend the scope of the visibility and intelligence we provide to customer transactions and services that run on AWS,” David Murray, Corvil’s chief marketing and business development officer, said in a statement.”
1Strategy Achieves AWS Machine Learning Competency Status
Seattle’s 1Strategy, an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, has achieved AWS Machine Learning Competency status.
1Strategy, which helps businesses architect, migrate and optimize their workloads on AWS, also holds the AWS DevOps, Migration and Data and Analytics competencies.
Customers that have worked with 1Strategy on their machine learning projects on AWS include Navitaire, a Minneapolis-based airline and transportation technology solution provider.
McAfee MVISION Cloud Gets AWS Security Competency and AWS Well-Architected Designation
McAfee, a device-to-cloud cybersecurity company, said its McAfee MVISION Cloud has achieved AWS Security Competency status and the AWS Well-Architected designation for its cloud access security broker (CASB) technology.
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based McAfee said its CASB technology builds on AWS’ existing security capabilities by providing a uniform approach to visibility and response to threats, compliance status, configuration management and drift, and sensitive data protection through comprehensive and consistent policies. Its McAfee MVISION Cloud is a single pane of glass for all infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and SaaS resources for customers.
“McAfee MVISION Cloud delivers a comprehensive solution to efficiently monitor, prioritize and respond to security events so customers can fulfill their shared responsibility for security on AWS,” Rajiv Gupta, senior vice president of McAfee’s cloud security business unit, said in a statement.
Pyramid Systems Obtains Advanced Consulting Partner Status
Pyramid Systems, a software solutions provider for federal government clients, has been selected as an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner.
The new partner status recognizes Pyramid Systems’ growing number of certified engineers and maturing cloud services, according to the Fairfax, Va., company. The company enables digital transformation for federal agencies through modernization, DevSecOps, cloud, analytics and biometrics services, and its core competencies involve the complete software lifecycle using Agile and UX/UI methodologies.
"Pyramid is one of the very few woman-owned, small businesses in the public sector to achieve APN Advanced Consulting Partner status,” Rajiv Kadayam, the company’s chief technology officer, said in a statement. "Pyramid has already delivered successful AWS cloud enablement solutions for the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and a financial regulatory agency."
Cloudinary Lands AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency
Cloudinary, an end-to-end media management platform provider, has attained the AWS Digital Customer Experience Competency with a focus on workloads based on content management.
Cloudinary provides a cloud-based media, full-stack platform used by web developers and marketers to manage images, videos and other rich media assets. Its clients include AMC, Bleacher Report, Conde Nast, DoorDash, Fairfax Media, Forbes, Gizmodo, GrubHub, Hinge, Indiegogo, Lululemon Athletica, Outbrain, Stitch Fix, StubHub, Under Armour and Whole Foods Market.

College Park, Md.-based Immuta, an automated data governance software company, has earned AWS Advanced Technology Partner status.
Immuta was founded in 2014 based on a mission within the U.S. intelligence community to build a platform that accelerates self-service access and control of sensitive data. Its scalable, no-code approach makes it easy for users to access the data they need, when they need it, while protecting sensitive data and ensuring their customers’ privacy, according to the company.
“A critical component of working with data in the cloud is to ensure consistent access and compliant control, so that organizations can protect sensitive data regardless of where that data resides,” Rob Lancaster, general manager of the Immuta cloud business unit, said in a statement. “Immuta provides AWS customers with fine-grained data access and control, and that’s why we are seeing significant demand from customers across all industries to run Immuta on AWS.”
