Infinitely Virtual Adds McAfee SaaS Total Protection To Cloud Platform
Infinitely Virtual, Ecinitas, Calif., a provider of virtual server cloud services, will offer McAfee’s SaaS Total Protection, which provides endpoint, e-mail, Internet and network protection, as a hosted solution. McAfee Saas Total Protection includes host-based and cloud-based Web filtering; cloud-based e-mail filtering and continuity; e-mail server security; and realtime updating for desktops, servers and networks.
New Relic APM Ready For Windows Azure
New Relic, a provider of SaaS-based cloud application performance management, said it has made its application performance monitoring (APM) capability available for deployment on the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud service.
Users of Windows Azure can now access New Relic Standard APM software free of charge from the Windows Azure Marketplace. Windows Azure customers can use San Francisco-based New Relic's service to monitor, troubleshoot and tune their business-critical Web applications.
New Relic's APM solution can monitor applications that are running in cloud, on-premise or hybrid environments.
Interxion Opens Eucalyptus-Based Cloud Test Lab
Interxion Holding, a co-location data center services provider, said it is launching a Cloud Test Lab based on Eucalyptus Systems' cloud platform.
The Cloud Test Lab targets enterprises and systems integrators seeking to deploy private and hybrid cloud environments. It is located at Interxion's Frankfurt Data Centre Campus and provides a free, proof-of-concept, turnkey environment that uses best-of-breed software, systems, connectivity and co-location capabilities.
Eucalyptus works closely with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) API, allowing Cloud Test Lab customers to build and test a hybrid cloud deployment and move workloads between the Test Lab and the AWS cloud.
Nimbula, UShareSoft Team For App Delivery To Hybrid, Private Clouds
Nimbula, a cloud software provider, teamed up with UShareSoft, which helps businesses build and migrate cloud applications, to simplify application delivery to private and hybrid clouds.
The companies will integrate UShareSoft's UForge software that helps users automate custom applications for provisioning to a cloud service based on Mountain View, Calif.-based Nimbula's cloud infrastructure software. UShareSoft is based in Grenoble, France.
Aryaka's Fusion Program Gives Regional Service Providers Global Reach
Aryaka, a Milpitas, Calif.-based provider of cloud-based WAN optimization as a service, unveiled its Fusion program for service providers. Fusion, a part of Aryaka's Emergence strategic alliance program, helps regional service providers extend their offerings and integrate with cloud services to help their customers migrate to the cloud.
Service providers can take advantage of Aryaka's optimized global network to offer cloud services internationally.
