Three manufacturers of large-format commercial displays were dominant during the third quarter of 2016, according to data from The NPD Group, which measured sales through technology distributors. Samsung led the way, followed by NEC Display and Sharp. And those vendors were responsible for all of the top 10 best-selling large-format commercial displays during Q3, The NPD Group said. The Port Washington, N.Y.-based market research firm's DistributorTrack sales database is comprised primarily of U.S. Global Technology Distribution Council members.
