Nearly every week seems to bring headlines of yet another data security breach, from major disasters like last year's Equifax cybersecurity incident that exposed the credit data of hundreds of millions of consumers, to (sadly) more common breaches such as this week's reported theft of 5 million credit and debit card numbers from retailers Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor. Such incidents are the reason why security technology is in such demand and so many solution providers have launched IT security practices.
That means solution providers have decisions to make about which vendors to work with. And those decisions include judging the caliber of a vendor's partner program.
The 2018 CRN Partner Program Guide offers the information solution providers need to evaluate IT vendors they work with or are considering working with. The guide is based on detailed applications vendors submitted outlining all aspects of their partner programs.
As part of the Partner Program Guide, CRN designates some programs as 5-Star Partner Programs. Here we present the 5-Star designees in the security technology space.
Other slideshows in the Five-Star Partner Program Guide series running this week include companies that provide systems and data center, cloud, software, network/unified communications, storage and peripherals technologies.
