Slide Show: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Server
The Apple Leopard Server is due to be released Oct. 26.
Leopard's Podcast application has a simple interface, and allows users to publish podcasts to iTunes.
Apple is planning to sell both 10-client and unlimited-client editions of Leopard Server.
VARs are especially interested in Leopard's integrated calendaring solution, iCal, which combines a calendar, e-mail program and messaging. VARs say the iCal server will provide a viable alternative to Microsoft Exchange.
Leopard is so advanced it apparently even includes a "time machine." (DeLorean not included.)
