Segment 1: The Benefits Of Choosing OpenText For Microsoft 365
Sydney: How is OpenText different from other providers? Tell us what truly sets it apart.
Lynda: So first and foremost, we have an amazing team of dedicated account managers and sales leaders that go that extra mile on a daily basis for their partners. They’ll conduct regional roadshows to provide enablement and, more importantly, keep that strong connection with our partners. We consider ourselves an extension of our partners’ Microsoft team. Our strength lies in our consultative approach. We assist partners in comprehending the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner program, guiding them on leveraging program incentives, benefits, learning paths and tools like Microsoft 365 Lighthouse. So, we take the time to ensure that our partners maximize their membership benefits.
Segment 2: Unlocking Opportunities With Copilot For Microsoft 365 With OpenText
Sydney: Lynda, what is Copilot and how does it work as an AI assistant?
Lynda: There are many different Copilot experiences. In the CSP world, there are two really important ones for business. First, there’s Copilot with Commercial Data Protection, simply known as Microsoft Copilot. This is accessible from your Edge browser when you’re signed in with your Entra ID work account. It’s free to use and provides a secure ChatGPT experience. Secure is the key word here. Now, this AI assistant is great for answering questions, summarizing web documents, PDF files, creating content, solving math problems and more. It’s a fantastic way to get accustomed to using generative AI.
The second experience is Copilot for Microsoft 365. This is the AI-powered productivity tool that integrates directly into your Microsoft 365 apps, acting like a highly intelligent personal assistant. It understands your work style, the data you access, the context of your data and the projects you’re involved in. It can help you capture meeting notes, create full PowerPoint presentations with speaker notes and images, handle data visualizations in Excel, offer suggestions for email replies in Outlook and more—all while ensuring your data is secure. Having an AI assistant like this by your side is priceless.
Segment 3: : Incentives And Revenue Opportunities With Copilot
Sydney: Liz, what revenue opportunities are available for partners who offer Copilot for Microsoft 365?
Liz: Microsoft loves to reward partners for running their Microsoft business. The Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program does just that. Partners can make anywhere from 3.75 percent to 25.75 percent rebate on their Microsoft revenue. Some of my partners use that revenue to drive campaigns or even to pay for full-time employees with that rebate. On top of that, they have benefits like internal-use licenses—200 E5 licenses, 25 Business Premium licenses, some EDU licenses—and starting in January, there will also be Copilot licenses included.
