Xerox Partner’s Support Connect App Goes International
Accredited Master Elite Xerox Partner Just Tech is going international with the licensing of its Support Connect App for Xerox multifunction printers.
Just Tech, La Plata, Md., signed an agreement with Germany-based e-dox for the company to use and sell the app on its devices.
“I have known [e-dox President] Marcus Putschli ... for several years and I am so excited to partner with e-dox on our first international licensing app agreement,’ Josh Justice, Just Tech’s president, told CRN. “This will lead to further growth of the Support Connect App in Germany, and Xerox partners and end-user clients will enjoy the simplified process of service and supply requests.”
With the Support Connect App, users can request service and supplies and provide feedback right from the device user interface, ensuring a simple and quick process.
Once the service and supply request is sent, the Xerox service provider instantly receives all needed information to resolve the issue, including the product’s serial number, meter reads, all supply statuses -- including toner, drum and fuser -- and all fault codes. This provides faster resolution to service and supply incidents and increased uptime for demanding environments, Justice said.
Justice’s team at Just Tech programmed the Support Connect App to support users in multiple languages. The app is currently installed in seven countries and works with all Xerox ConnectKey, AltaLink and VersaLink devices.
However, this is the first time an international partner has been licensed to sell the app.
“It’s been very popular in the states for the last few years and we have thousands of installs,” Justice said. “I’m so glad that he’s embraced the support connect app for his company, and now partnered with us to provide it to partners and end users in Germany.”
